selection is the total cable cross section to be used.
The criterion of the cable cross sectional area taken on its own is
not the correct approach. To calculate the total cross sectional
area required a suitable calculation method is shown below.

future use. By this means it forms a strong infrastructure for

It is comprised of DKM-S1, DKM-S2, DKM-SK junction box systems
and a range of accessories. It forms a strong structure due to its
specially designed corners. The minimum installation height is 70 mm.
The maximum height set prior to the screed finish is 20 mm and is a
maximum of 15 mm after the screed finish.
EAE ducts have a seamless design which prevents damage to the

cables running through them. This also gives maximum space inside

RABBIT WIRE APPLICATIONS;
In underfloor ducting installations where the screed finish is

thin, before pouring the screed,Rabbit wire (thin gauge
netting ) should be placed over the duct to reinforce the
screed. Pour a thin layer of screed to hold the wire. Finally
apply the rest of the screed to complete the install.
Connect the ducts to each other.
Use a string or laser for the system
Fix the joint element to the end of the duct.
Cut the protective sheet metal according to the duct width.
Fix the other duct to joint element.
Bend the sheet metal for the duct inlet.
Adjust the level setup with the junction box.

Place the duct into the inlet of the junction box.
Adjust the level setup with the joint.
Complete the connections of the system.
Pour out the finishing screed.
1- Using a tight string ( or Laser) set out the layout and finished screed heights.
2- Firstly, start the installation with the junction box.
3- To ensure that the installation conditions are suitable, lay a levelling (ribbon) screed.
4- Using a spirit level, install the auxiliary ducts and junction box.
5- If a levelling screed is not used ensure that the upper point of the conduit and the
upper points of the ducts and junction box are at the correct level.
6- Fix the system on to some key points.
7- Put in place the transparent protective covers of the junction box.
8- While the levelling screed is being poured, ensure an electrician will be available to
install the system.
9- Mount the service outlet boxes after the layout is finished.
