Set Induction (5 minutes)


1. Teacher shows some picture cards of actions
(locomotion) to pupils.
2. Pupils respond to the picture cards and describe the
actions in it.
3. Pupils try guessing the topic of the day by using their
prior knowledge gained by their previous lesson.
4. Teacher introduces the topic appropriately.

Step 1 (15 minutes)


1. Teacher projects a short film related to action verbs
(locomotion).
2. Pupils enjoy the short film and describe the actions
(locomotion) which was shown in the video.
3. Teacher explains the action verbs as stated in the
video.
4. Pupils try to pronounce the action verbs by saying it
loudly.
Step 2 (25 minutes)
1. Teacher sets a station game where the pupils have to
follow some instructions and do the actions to win the
game.
2. Teachers divides the pupils into 5 groups and instructs
them to search for their lost homework books (as in the
short film).
3. Pupils follow the simple instructions and complete the
tasks given to get their lost homework books as a
Fairy Godmother (a 3D Animated Characters Voice
Projections which is projected via LCD Projector).
Evaluation

Evaluation for listening skill. (10 minutes)


1. Teacher plays Simon Says game as she says out the
action verbs and instructs the pupils to recognise and do
the actions accordingly.
2. Pupils try to recognise to the action verbs and do the
movement as the teacher pronounce them.

Closure

Short Film (Snippet) (5 minutes)


1. Teacher plays the snippet of the short film (the part of
performing the action verbs).
2. Teacher encourages the pupils on what they have had

learnt today and stimulates them to pronounce the


action verbs correctly.
3. Pupils try to reflect what they had learnt today and
pronounce the action verbs learnt correctly.
