quantitative methods in business situations.

uncertainly; Subjective probability and competitive situation; Decision theory with
experiments; Decision Trees; Decisions with cost pay - off; Expected value of perfect;
Expected value of sample Information; Efficiency of sample information.
Games Theory Two person, Zero sum Game, Minimax, Maximin strategies; Saddle
point and Mixed strategies.

Waiting lines: Characteristics, arrival process, structure and service process; Single and
multiple channel models; Optimum number of channels; Cost Analysis; Business
application of waiting lines.

Transportation model; H-V corner Rule, stepping stone Methods, VAM; MODI;
Applications of transportation Model Assignment Models, Transshipment and Routing
Problems.
