Google Drive and Sharing

1. Open Web Browser


a. Use Google Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer
2. Type into Web Browser URL: drive.google.com
3. Click Sign-in button in upper-right corner of the screen.
4. Enter Barrow County Username and Password
a. Password does not work: Contact Melanie Hooks or Luis Rhodas
5. Click Upload Button

6. Click Files Button
7. Select a File From Computer
8. Click Open
a. File will be automatically uploaded to Google Drive
9. Click Create

10. Click Folder
11. Press Backspace Button on KeyBoard
12. Name Folder
13. Click Create

14. Click Box next to uploaded file

15. Click the More Button

16. In Box that pops up, select Move To
17. Select a location for file to go.

18. Click the Share Button

19. Type e-mail address of person(s) you want to share file with
a. To add additional people to share file with, press ; on the keyboard.
20. Click Send
21. Click Create Button
22. Click Document
23. In Upper Left of document, click Untitled Document
24. Press Backspace Button on Keyboard
25. Rename the Document
26. Click OK
27. Type a sentence into document.
28. Click Share

29. Type e-mail address of person(s) you want to share file with
a. To add additional people to share file with, press ; on the keyboard.
