Duties and Responsibilities


Metro Manila Data Operations:

• Coordinates and collaborates with concern groups and


clients for proper scheduling of activities and allocation of
facilities prior to implementation.
• Verifies installation set-up and testing done in and out of the
Distribution Offices in accordance to standards.
• Coordinates with the customer for the details of the isolated
problem and troubleshoots circuit problem escalated by his
subordinates/NDC personnel. Coordinates from customer in
local to remote.
• Prepares and leads the implementation of preventive
maintenance instruction. Documents and recommends
equipment for service or further testing if necessary
• Checks all telecomm and datacomm circuits/equipment for
their status condition.

Data Network Operations Center:

• Provisions, implements, test commissions circuit/projects in


accordance to parameters set and standards. End to End
set-up involving technical and non-technical clients and
remote station personnel. ( DSL, IPVPN, TDM, Frame Relay,
Circuit Migrations )
• Implements emergency and contingency measures in case
of service failures
• Monitors day to day circuit and systems performance and
sees to it that it is properly recorded. Assigns task to each
personnel to define their responsibility within the distribution
Reviews and traffic analysis in existing network in order to
maximize utilization of existing facility continuously.
• Prepares reports in regards to activities either operations
or engineering-related and including customer circuit availability
and station performance.
