This decision was taken by Indian Railways before celebration

However, the train timings and its composition have not been changed. Yoga Expr
run between Ahmedabad (Gujarat) and Haridwar (Uttarakhand) on daily basis cover
1208 km distance in 26 hours 05 mins.

The train has number 19031 from Ahmedabad to Haridwar and number 19032 in
reverse direction. Its average speed is below 55 km/hr.The train also has a stopove
Gandhinagar which was added in 2009 Railway Budget.

Indian Railways ink MoU with IIT-BHU for research work

Indian Railways has inked Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi for resea
and development work. This MOU is part of Malaviya Chair for Railway Technolo
Varanasi.

The MoU was been signed by Railway Board Advisior R K Verma and IIT (BHU)- Direc
Professor Rajeev Sangal in the presence of Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu.

The pact envisages for upgradation of Railway tracks for High speed trains
developing indigenous raw material for the industry in lines with Make India Programm

Apart from singing MoU it was also announced to set up Malaviya Chair Committee
supervise research work. The chair is being named after freedom fighter and Bha
Ratna recipient Madan Mohan Malaviya who was the founder of Banaras Hin
University (BHU).
Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu also dedicated 1500th rail engine Gaurav
public services from Diesel locomotive works (DLW) at Maduadeeh, Varanasi.
