Getting error message while running the setup:
---------------------------------------------The following error message appears while running the setup:
eg. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSSTDFMT.DLL followed by a message:
An access violation occurred while copying the file.
Abort,Retry,Ignore?
Solution:
Close all applications and restart the computer. Now run the setup.
Getting error message at the fag end of running the setup:
---------------------------------------------------------An error occurred while registering the file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\EXPSRV.DLL
Abort,Retry,Ignore?
Solution:
Just ignore it.
Version Conflict:
----------------While running the setup a dialog box pops up with the caption:Version Conflict
Solution:
Click 'Yes'.
The following message appears after clicking 'Setup':
Setup
Setup cannot continue because some system files are out of date on your system. Click
OK if you would like setup to update these files for you now. You will need to restart
Windows before you can run setup again. Click cancel to exit setup without updating
system files.
You are given two options: OK & Cancel.
Solution: Click OK.
Now the following message will appear:
Do you want to restart Windows now? If you choose 'No' you will not be able to run setup
again until after the system is rebooted at a later time.
Options: Yes & No
Solution: Click Yes.
Now the system will reboot. after rebooting, run setup.
Getting Error messages while trying to run the program
-----------------------------------------------------Sometimes, the program will get installed without any hitch. But while running the
program you will get error messages like 'msstdfmt.dll not correctly registered' etc. Under
such circumstances follow the undermentioned procedure.
Solution:
Step.1
You can find the dll file in the 'support' folder. Right click the dll file eg. msstdfmt.dll and a
menu pops up. Click copy and go to C drive and right click. Again a menu pops up.
Here,click paste. and the msstdfmt.dll is thus copied in your C drive.
Step.2
Go to Start--> Run
In the blank space provided after open: type the following
(In case you are getting msstdfmt.dll error)
regsvr32 c:\msstdfmt.dll
and press ok.
Now, restart the computer. You will not find this error again while running the program.
The same procedure should be followed in case of other dll errors also. In such cases
replace'msstdfmt.dll' with the dll file concerned.
Getting the following error message:

----------------Windows is searching for horoeng7.exe. To locate the file yourself click Browse. 'Browse'
and 'Cancel' buttons appear.
Solution:
Click 'Browse'.
A Dialog Box opens up with the heading 'Open' and 'PCWAY's Astrology' under 'Look in'.
A no of files are listed below. Choose the file
'horoeng7.exe' and click 'open'.
Runtime Error 3024- Couldn't find the latlng.mdb file
----------------------------------------------------Solution:
start-->Program-->PC WAY-->Right click 'English Astrology'.Menu Pops up. Click
Properties.Astro Properties dialog box opens up.
Start in: must look like "C:\Program Files\PCWAY's Astrology". In your case, it invariably
appears as "C:\Program Files". Change it to
"C:\Program Files\PCWAY's Astrology"
Click 'Apply' and 'Close'.
Tamil Letters Not Coming(In case of Tamil Astrology)
---------------------------------------------------Solution:
Step.1
Go to Start-->Settings-->Control Panel-->Fonts
When you double click the fonts all the fonts installed in your computer will appear. Delete
the font by name'Amudam' or 'Madurai'
Step.2
Place the Astrology Cd in the Cd Drive.
Go to the 'support' folder in the astrology program in the CD.In the support folder you
will find the 'Amudam' or 'Madurai' font. Right click the 'Amudam' or 'Madurai' font
appearing in the support folder. A menu pops up. Click copy.Open the fonts folder in the
control panel and right click. A menu pops up. Click paste. Thus the Amudam or Madurai
font in the support folder is copied in the fonts folder in the control panel.
Restart the computer.
If the problem still persists, it means the font folder in your windows is corrupted. You
have to format the HDD and resinstall windows.Forget not to take back up of data before
formatting.
Not Able to browse up and down for the scrollbar is not visible

Right Click the Desktop. A menu pops up. Go to Properties. Click'Settings'. change the
screen area to 800 by 600 pixels. Apply and click ok. A Dialog Box appears with the
following message:
You resized your desktop.Do you want to keep this setting?
say 'Yes'. Your monitor resolution is changed to 800 by 600 pixels.
Restart the computer.
