Agility builds durable, efficient supply chains that power businesses and drive trade,

creating access to new opportunities.

Our History
Agilitys story parallels the rise of emerging markets in the global economy. The

largest logistics company in the Middle East. It acquired more than 40 logistics brands
around the world, investing billions to build a global network with a strong footprint in
emerging markets. Today, Agility is one of the worlds largest integrated logistics
providers with more than 20,000 employees and operations in 100 countries.

Our Structure
Agility has two main lines of business. Through our Global Integrated Logistics (GIL)
business, we work with companies in diverse industries and markets to move, manage,

portfolio of companies, we provide logistics-related services in emerging markets that
facilitate trade and create access to new opportunities.

Meeting sharp rise in automotive demand in Brazil with dedicated, inhouse logistics team

Agility works with a large automotive group to help it keep pace with the growing
demand in the Brazilian automotive market. Twenty-two Agility employees
manage the manufacturers supply chain in-house at the customers facilities,
where they handle shipments that feed production lines and coordinate with
global suppliers. Agility manages a global supply chain that sees parts and
materials shipments picked up each morning in Europe, for delivery to the
customers production lines by the following afternoon. By operating inside the
customers facility, the Agility team is able to help its customer make strategic
decisions to shape its supply chain for the greatest efficiency and cost savings
today and for years to come.

On-site warehouse cuts the time of order fulfilment for PC maker.

For many years, Agility operated a vendor-managed warehouse for a Hungarian

global contract manufacturer of PCs and servers for major technology firms. Four
to six 24-ton transit trucks made daily deliveries from a central warehouse in
Budapest to the manufacturers base of operations in the countryside, a one-way
trip of 80km. An extensive warehouse set up in Budapest with round-the-clock
crew, overtime and extra shifts were needed to load the mixed-cargo onto the
trucks.
Delayed loadings and traffic delays plagued the operation, leading to a
dissatisfied customer who counted on timely deliveries to meet production
deadlines. Agility and the customer then jointly invested in an on-site warehouse
and stationed the Agility support team at the facility. As a result, Agility could fulfil
scheduled orders within three hours and urgent orders within only 30 minutes.

Outsourcing to Agilitys pharma competency center supports Middle

East demand

Growth is a nice problem to have. A global healthcare company needed to scale

up its supply chain to keep pace with the Middle East regions demand for
healthcare and medicines.
For a number of years, the company shipped intravenous, renal and other
products directly into GCC and the eastern Mediterranean countries. Expanding
demand prompted the firm to outsource inventory management and delivery to
Agilitys Dubai pharma competency center hub. The scalability offered by Agility
and our experience with the special needs of the pharma industry are a good fit.
Since choosing Agility, the customer has achieved a 60 percent improvement in
order fulfillment. Four years ago, it was holding around 700 pallets of product in
Dubai and moving 200 to 250 a month to customers.
Today, at Agilitys hub, stock holding has grown to 2,000 pallets, and shipments
have doubled to 500 pallets a month.

Upgrading security reduces losses to almost zero

Security was of paramount concern to Kenyas largest distributor of technology

and computer products imported from an American maker. Loss of goods
resulted in missed deliveries, dissatisfied customers and higher insurance
premiums. The distributor needed results - fast. Agility demonstrated its
commitment by tying performance to specific security-related service level
agreements. Warehouse and transportation security solutions implemented by
Agility reduced incidents of thefts to almost zero, which translated into lower
insurance premiums. Based on this performance, the distributor now entrusts
Agility with 80 percent of its transportation needs.

Raising a German elevator manufacturers logistics standards

The packaging and transport of oversized passenger and freight elevators

require a reliable logistics partner like Agility that can provide the expertise,
global network, storage facilities and equipment to handle the job from the
production shop floor to the final delivery. Agility first inspects the goods at the
production site in order to provide tailor-made packaging. The goods are then
transported to the Agility facility in Stuttgart, Germany for proper packing and
storage until a customer order has to be fulfilled by air, sea or road freight to any
location. Agilitys customized approach optimizes storage space and ensures
each item shipped meets country specific regulations (IPPC-Standard).
