Cabled Legwarmers

Warm and cozy, these leg warmers are perfect when a little extra warmth is
needed.
Braid & Rib Pattern (multiple of 12 sts)
Round 1 (RS): P2, k2, slip 2 sts to cn and hold in back, k2, k2 from cn, p2, k2;
rep to end of round.
Rounds 2 and 4: P2, k6, p2, k2; rep to end of round.
Round 3: P2, slip 2 sts to cn and hold in front, k2, k2 from cn, k2, p2, k2; rep to
end of round.
Rep rounds 1-4 for pattern.
Directions
With size 7 DPNs, cast on 84 sts. Join, being careful not to twist.
Round 1: P2, k2; rep to end of round.
Rep this round until piece measures 2 from cast on edge.
Change to size 8 DPNs and Braid & Rib Pattern.
Work even for 12, ending with a Round 2.
Change back to smaller DPNs and P2, K2 rib. Work this for 2. Bind off loosely.
Work in ends.
