Renault immobiliser system is based on unique security code stored in

each immobiliser related part: engine control unit, immobilizer control unit
and the key. If you have any problem with Renault immobilizer - lost key,
desynchronized keyfob - you will need immobiliser security code to repair
all car electronic system and start the vehicle. Usually this code you can
order from Renault dealer, but this could take too many time. You can

RENAULT has introduced several transponder key immobilizer systems
that uses PHILIPS Read/Write transponder PCF7931. During ignition-on
phase transponder is being read and result is compared with data inside
immobilizer module. In the case when both key data and immobilizer
EEPROM memory data matches each other, car is allowed to start. When
original transponder key is lost you can use this calculator to make
replacement for it. In addition to this calculator, transponder read/write
tool is necessary to complete key making operation (you can use Silca
RW2 or similar transponder programming machine). Immobilizer EEPROM
data is used as a source for calculator software and result is 16 bytes of
transponder data that you must to write into it.

With this calculator you can also generate 12-digit for new Laguna II and
Megane/Scenic II. This code you can calculate using CCR2 from UCH
processor EEPROM file (MC68HC912DG128/256).
