Games". They fight until there is
only one person left alive. It
shows survival of the fittest in
extreme conditions. The games are

Gary Ross was the director of The Hunger Games. Gary Ross is an
American writer, director and actor born November 3rd, 1956 in Los
Angeles, California. His father was screenwriter Arthur A. Ross (1920
- 2008). After writing for television series Deadly Nightmares (1983)
in 1986, Ross broke through by penning the Tom Hanks hit Big
(1988), his first screenplay to be made into a feature film. Ross has
been nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture
and Adapted Screenplay nods for Sea biscuit (2003), which received
a total of seven Academy Awards nominations but no wins.

Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mallark Joshua Ryan "Josh"

Hutcherson (born October 12, 1992) is an American movie and
television actor. He began acting early in 2000. He performed
in several minor movie and television roles. As well as being in
the hunger games series, he was in: Bridge to Terabithia; RV;
the kids are all right and Firehouse Dog.

Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne Liam scored his first

audition at age 16 and appeared on the Australian TV series
Home and Away (1988) and McLeod's Daughters (2001)
before taking on a recurring character role on the soap opera
Neighbours (1985), in which his brother Luke had also
appeared. Roles on TV shows The Elephant Princess (2008)
and Satisfaction (2007) followed before Liam moved to the
United States to pursue a big-screen career.

Lionsgate is the company that produced the hunger games. Lions

Gate Entertainment Corporation (Lionsgate) was formed in 1997 by
Frank Giustra and Avi Federgreen with a $16 million investment
including another $40 million from other investors which included
Keyur Patel and Yorkton Securities' executives such as G. Scott
Paterson.

Technology in Panem is very advanced and utilizes such things as

force fields, holograms, solar batteries and magnetic levitation. The
Capitol is a technologically advanced metropolis, utilizing science to
make life easier for its plutocratic citizens, whereas the districts,
most notably the outer ones, seem to have progressed little beyond
20th and 21st century technology. The research and production of
new technology is the industry of District 3, making devices and
gadgets like televisions and computers. Technology is also used in
weaponry, notably by Beetee, a native of District 3. During his time
as a tribute in a past Hunger Games, Beetee managed to make an
electric trap that killed off the remaining tributes from the Games,
giving him his victory.

Lionsgate also distributed the film in the UK and US. Lionsgate was
founded by Frank Giustra.

The UK release date was on the weekend of March 2325, 2012. The
same date as the US.

The Amazing Spider-Man is a 2012 American superhero film based

on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and sharing the title of
the character's longest-running comic book of the same name.

The Amazing Spiderman is in the action adventure genre. The target

audience would be mostly for all ages and genders

The budget for The Amazing Spiderman was $230 million

Marc Webb was the director for the amazing spiderman. Marc Webb
was born on August 31, 1974. He is a director and producer, known
for 500 Days of summer (2009), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014).

The film starred Andrew Garfield (who played Peter Parker AKA SpiderMan) and Emma Stone (who played Gwen Stacy). They are both successful
in their careers. The Amazing Spider-Man has been their biggest role's for
them.

The production companies for this film are Marvel Studios, Marvel
Entertainment and Relativity Media. The Amazing Spider-Man can be
viewed in 2D and 3D. This film also used CGI for a flame effect.

The Film was distributed by Columbia Pictures who is owned Sony

Name: Katniss Everdeen
Age:16

When she was 16. Katniss volunteered to take her
sister, Primrose Everdeen's place in the 74th hunger
games after Primrose name was called at the reaping. Originally, she wasn't
planning to go into the hunger games but when her sister was picked, she
volunteered to save her in hopes that she could actually win. Katniss is the main
provider for her family as her father died during a mine explosion when Katniss
was 11

Name: Peeta Mellark

Age:16
Gender: Male
Peeta is the baker's son from district 12. He is a very
compassionate person and is good with words. He has
been in love with Katniss most of his life but never
confessed his feelings until he was reaped alongside
her for the 74th Hunger Games. He and Katniss pretend
a romance and manage to both become victors by
tricking the Gamemakers.

Name: Gale Hawthorne

Age: 18
Gender: Male
Gale Hawthorne is Katniss' best friend and hunting
partner. Like Katniss, he has dark hair and grey eyes.
His father died in the same explosion that killed Katniss'
father. The pair combined their talents, his at trapping
and hers at archery, to become an effective team. Gale
has three siblings: Rory, Vick and Posy. He is fiercely devoted to his family and to
Katniss and a true rebel. He is in love with Katniss and forced to watch the 74 th
Hunger Games as she volunteers in the place of her sister and fakes a romance
between Peeta Mellark in order to stay alive.

The Amazing Spider-Man

After Peter's parents' disappearance at the age four,
he moved in with his Aunt Man and Uncle Ben.
Although he was not popular, he thrived in most of
his classes, particularly science. He had always
been attracted to fellow student, Gwen Stacy, who
was not only beautiful but the top of their high

school class. Peter was bullied by one of his class mates called Flash Thompson.
Flash tried to get Peter to take a picture to humiliate another kid that he was
bullying but Peter refused. While trying to see if the bullied student was okay,
Flash knocked him to the ground leading to a fight broken up by Gwen Stacy.
Peter was bitten by a spider making him eventually form into spider-man. His
new powers gave him outstanding strength and agility.

Name: Gwen Stacy

Age: 19
Gender: Female
Gwen Stacy was the classmate and former
girlfriend of Peter Parker and the daughter
of chief police officer, George Stacy. Gwen
was also a senior research officer at
Oscorp Industries. Gwen Stacy stopped
Flash Thompson from beating up Peter
after he refused to take another picture of
another boy getting bullied. As she went
up to Flash, she mentioned how she was
disappointed by his tutoring session with
Gwen the week prior. Gwen and Peter then became romantically involved when
she then invited Peter to a family dinner. After they went outside, Peter kissed
Gwen wile revealing his secret identity as Spider-Man.

Name: Curtis Connors (AKA Lizard)

Dr. Connors soon came to be a scientist
working at Oscorp Industries, and he met
Richard Parker who was a fellow employee
that wished to help Connors in his search for a
cure. Though, the day that Richard and his
wife Mary mysteriously went missing. Dr.
Connors decided to totally shut down his

work. Years later, while working with some interns at Oscorp Tower, Curt Connors
encountered Peter Parker, who impressed him due to his knowledge beyond most
teenagers. During this encounter, Connors did not find his name, but just thought
of him to be another intern
