This course describes how the underlying Vendavo technology works


to provide your pricing tool; it provides a basic understanding of the
Vendavo application to aid you during requirements gathering. The
course first describes the physical and logical environment and then
delves deeper into how data is stored and accessed.
Pricemart creation methodology: This focuses on how to gather
and process historic pricing data for loading into Pricemart and
discusses what the Pricemart is.
User interface and data loading technology: This details how the
end users and the rest of the ERP landscape communicate with
the Vendavo application and how dashboards and reports are
created.

Description:

Vendavo is committed to ensuring customers and partners can


successfully use and configure our technology. As part of this
commitment, Vendavo developed the Certified Professional
Credential. This professional standard signifies that IT professionals
have the necessary experience and skills to successfully configure,
enhance, and maintain Vendavo applications.
All certifications are issued for specific major Vendavo releases. The
Vendavo Certification Program is a two-week program of
configuration activities for the full application suite. Instructor must
receive and verify the completed project to issue certification.

Description:

This course focuses on system management at two levels:


First level - Learn the user interface for administrative tasks.
Create and configure users, roles and groups, run adapters
and check adapter logs. Create new dashboards and edit
existing ones, manage the Pricemart, and view system
related logs.
Second level - Start the troubleshooting process, restart the
application server, and install the Vendavo application.

Technical Level I is recommended for total understanding of


Vendavo architecture and integration points.

Description:

This course is designed for those who will integrate Vendavo with
SAP ECC through SAP XI framework. It describes how to convert
Vendavo approvable entities (price lists, quotes, contracts and
agreements) into exportable data objects and how to map them to
SAP Condition Types and Condition Tables. It also includes how to
process incoming master data feeds and acknowledgements of
exported data.

Task

Verify the computer is > Pentium 4, 700MHz, and has 1GB to 2GB RAM and at least
5GB of free space. Operating system should be Windows XP with Internet Explorer
6.0 +.

Verify that hard disk has 10+ GB of free space (This is prior to Oracle installation. 5
GB free space is required if Oracle is already installed).

Verify that you are designated as an administrator on your local laptop.

Obtain a system administrator user name and password for your machine and Oracle.

Ensure you have disabled (or know how to disable) any personal firewall software
running on your machine.

Download and install Adobe Flash Player.

Install Oracle 10g, Version 10.2 or above. For additional information, refer to the
