Noida Sector-73 (Uttar Pradesh)

Description: Structural Interpretation on 3D seismic data of an Area in Cauvery Basin using
PETREL software. In this study, I learn seismic interpretation using PSDM 3D seismic Data. I have done
Horizon interpretation, depth structure map, preparing Isopach map, Fault interpretation, Seismic
Attribute Analysis (Phase section of seismic data through Ant tracking) using PETREL Software etc.

Geophysical Field Training
Place: ONGC, Vadodara, Gujrat.
Description: In ONGC we attended different lectures about Seismic Prospecting. We learned about
seismic processing, Seismic survey design 2D/3D.

Description: In ISR Institute we attended different lectures about Exploration Geophysics. We

learned about Inversion, Electromagnetic method, Gravity and Electrical method, Seismology etc.

Geological Field Training
Place : Nainital (Uttrakhand)
Description: Visited many places, of Nainital and, studied a brief about Rock history of area, and

identified some types of rocks (low grade metamorphic rocks like schist, gneiss) and their mineral
composition (minerals like Olivine, pyroxene) and different geological structures (fault, fold, joints,
ripple marks, unconformity, cross beddings.
