Making the step of jewelry and lost waxing. (Devendra)
To make a jewelry the designer has to make a design according to
the costumer need.
As the design made it will go to the waxing department where the
leather will had to cut by the cutter to make the item the cutter
make the design and in the leather they bake the leather in 90 c
as the designs put in them in the shape of wax then they again put
the leather in wax then wax shape place then the small pieces of
wax had been created then small piece of wax putting together it
form like a tree of wax then it will go to heating department
It take then the worker had put the thing to the mold and then it
put some chemical powder in it then it will go to the temperature
box where they put the silver or brass metal to it to the mold make
sure that the temp will be1200
So the silver or brass take proper place in it then it will go to the
cutting department so the cutter cut the molt and take out the tree
n then they cut down then it will go to the setting department so the
properly place the cutting part in to the jewelry the it will go to the
Polish department.
Soldering procedure? (Karan Khandaka)
Soldering refers to the fact that two pieces of metal are joined
together using heat and the appropriate type of solder.
A jewelry making torch is used to solder. Common fuels for your
torch are propane, gas-air.
Three Tips for Soldering
Keep it clean: Solder won't flow and join your pieces of metal
jewelry together if any part of the equation is dirty.
Get rid of gaps: Join the metal pieces you're soldering tightly
together. Solder will not fill gaps in metal.
Solder flows towards heat: Never direct the flame from your torch

directly at the solder. Heat the metal where you want the solder to
flow (towards the pieces needing joining).
Antique lamination of jewellery (kshitij)
Some of the jewellery needs an antique finish as per the
requirements of the customer or the designer. In this when the
piece is ready, a coating of VIM powder is dusted over the
jewellery and then the regular finishing and polishing is done for an
antique look.
Jewellery finishing (Kshitij)
Firstly buffing of the piece is done , in this This process makes the
surface smooth producing a high luster and mirror finish if desired.
This is done with the use of buffing wheels and buffing
compounds. The polishing is done which removes surface
material, improving the surface and preparing it for buffing. This is
generally a coarse operation involving sandpaper and/or coarse
polishing compounds.
Eloctroplating of jewellery (Kshitij)
Electroplating is a method to put a metal coating onto an object, in
our case a piece of jewellery, by placing it in a solution containing
the metal to be plated and passing an electrical current through the
piece and the solution. It is possible to electroplate coatings of
most pure metals and even some alloys. Rhodium one of the
platinum group of metals with a good white color is also done the
same way.
Rhodium (Puneet)
Rhodium plating is a metal deposition process used to coat
materials with a decorative and protective layer of rhodium . When
applied as a thin plate, it affords a durable finish of exceptional
brightness
How ultrasonic cleaning is done (Puneet)

B. Add jewelry
C. Clean the jewellery
D. Rinse the jewellery
E. Empty the tank

Hand fabrication of jewellery (Rshabh)
Jewelry is hand fabricated by joining precious metal segments or
parts by soldering or welding them into position. Components used

in jewelry fabrication range from heads, cages, or prongs needed

for setting gemstones, to clasps, clutches, and earring posts that
provide functionality.
Hand Fabrication is performed by bench jewelers (Karigar) to
assemble separate elements to integrate them into a finished
jewelry item. The process often requires a jeweler to intertwine
multiple colors precious metal components by soldering or welding
or soldering.
