Edward Snowden accused Hillary Clinton of a lack of political courage for asserting
during the Democratic presidential debate that he had bypassed options for disclosing
illegal government spying programs that would have granted him whistleblower
protections against retaliation from superiors.
The Guardian reports:
Speaking via satellite at a privacy conference at New Yorks Bard College on
Friday, Snowden said: Hillary Clintons claims are false here.
This is important, right? Snowden told an audience at the Hannah Arendt
Center at Bard College. Truth should matter in politics, and courage should
matter in politics, because we need change. Everyone knows we need
change. And we have been aggrieved and in many ways misled by political
leaders in the past.
Before Snowden spoke, Clinton repeated the claim on Friday, at a campaign
appearance in New Hampshire. After a voter said Snowden was close to a
patriot, BuzzFeed reported, Clinton disagreed and said he could have
received whistleblower protections but instead chose to break the law.

He broke the laws of the United States, Clinton said at the debate on
Tuesday. He could have been a whistleblower. He could have gotten all of
the protections of being a whistleblower. He could have raised all the issues
that he has raised. And I think there would have been a positive response to
that.
Multiple passes at fact-checking Clintons claim this week have concluded
that the protections of being a whistleblower do not exist in the real world
and did not apply to Snowden. A 1989 whistleblower law, for example, does

I blew the whistle on a firm, International Signal & Control, or ISC in 1987. They
were indicted in 1991 of selling arms, cluster bombs, to Iraq via South Africa and
linked to Carlos Cardoen, Robert Gates, Bobby Ray Inman, etc. It took me until
2005 to finally enter the U.S. Court Systems, as pro se. "They" did exactly to me
what Snowden is claiming, instead of affording me protections, the prosecuted
me with a plethoria of false arrests, and fraudulent psychiatric commitments.
Legal representation was impossible to gain access to. I have been posting
Snowden videos on my FACEBOOK page trying to educate people of his
sincere efforts to reform the abuses in the intelligence community. To make
matters even more bizzare for me, in 2005, the year I filed my first U.S. Federal
Court Case, I became a victim of U.S. Sponsored Mind Control. I have done
government work in the late 1980's and early 1990's in the optical publishing
industry and even did a project with DARPA/NIST. All of the abuses that
Snowden has disclosed have been used against me, in one form or another.
Tonight I was at a speaking engagement in Lancaster, PA to hear Chris Hedges,
which lead me to this site. There is a direct link to the Clintons. Bobby Ray
Inman was on the Board of Directors of ISC. Inman was the former Director of
the NSA and was selected by then President Bill Clinton as his Secretary of
Defense. He later withdrew his nomination due to the ISC scandal. It gets even
worse, in 1991 Robert Gates went through a grilling and questioning during his
confirmation hearings for Director of the CIA. He had to answer (and in my
opinion lie) about his relationship with James Guerin and ISC and the covert
activities of supplying cluster bombs and other arms to Saddam Hussein and
Iraq. My point is that there is now way, at least from my personal experience,
that Edward Snowden would have been afforded any protections. The system is
set up to do the exact opposite. In my mind he had no choice. Society will
eventually understand his predicament and treat him more for what he has
contributed and less for what the talking points by the politicians want us to
