National Institute of Technology Warangal, formerly


known as Regional Engineering College was established
in 1959. Over the years it has developed into a premier
institute of higher learning and is ranked among the
top technical education institutions in India. There are 14
Departments offering eight undergraduate
and
29
post-graduate
programmes
besides
doctoral
programmes. About 5000 students across the country
and about 500 international students pursue their
education in the campus. It is a fully residential
campus sprawling over 250 acres with excellent
infrastructure in the form of state of the art library, seminar
halls, guest houses and laboratories.

About Warangal
Warangal is the second largest city of the new state
of Telangana. It is situated at a distance of 140 km from
the state capital Hyderabad (Nearest Airport). It is well
connected by Rail (Kazipet Junction is two km away and
Warangal Station is 12 km away) and by Road (NH 202).
W eather in Decemb er is very co mfo rtab le with
average temperature of about 28 degrees Centigrade during
day and about 18 degree Centigrade during night.
Warangal is renowned for its rich historical and cultural
heritage. It was the seat of erstwhile Kakatiya dynasty. It
is a place of tourist attraction with a number of historical
monuments like Thousand Pillars Temple, Warangal Fort,
Bhadrakali Temple, Ramappa Temple and Laknavaram
Lake.

About T4E 2015


The IEEE International Conference on Technology for
Education (T4E) is an annual flagship research
conference
interconnecting
education
and
technology. In this series, the seventh Conference is
being organized at National Institute of Technology,
Warangal, Telangana State, India, during December
10-12, 2015. The Conference focuses on advanced
learning technologies and pedagogy for technologyenhanced learning, innovative use of ICT for
content development and classroom use. The
Conference provides a forum to bring together
academicians,
researchers,
practitioners
and
industrialists who share their latest research results
and
experiences.
The
conference programme
comprises of Paper presentations, Workshops,
Keynotes, Panel discussions and Exhibitions. Earlier six
annual events were held in IIIT Bangalore, IIT
Mumbai, IIT Madras,
IIIT
Hyderabad, IIT
Kharagpur, and Amrita University, Kollam during the
years 2009-2014.
