and Science Programme
Every year approximately 60 engineering and geosciences
graduates are hired to undertake the two year MITAS
programme globally across Maersk Oil and Maersk Drilling
Maersk attracts and develops top
talent for both technical leadership and
specialist careers. The MITAS programme
helps graduates develop a business
mindset and gives a broad exposure to
technical challenges, serving as a solid
basis for future positions within the
A. P. Moller - Maersk group.
A SUPERB TRAINING AND
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Real work and three work
placements during two years: In the
two years with us, you will undertake
three 8-month placements, in three
different technical positions in at least
two different countries, giving you a
breadth of work experience spanning
in the upstream oil and gas industry,
which is hard to beat.
Its challenging work, but it gives you
international experience and real
responsibilities opportunities rarely

available with other companies without


lengthy training.
Build business acumen: You will
complete four training modules, including
project and process management,
communication, team leadership and
developing your understanding of the
upstream oil and gas industry.
Develop your technical expertise: You
could end up working in any of our global
locations, but wherever that may be, you
will always receive excellent discipline
specific technical training, developing your
specialist expertise and general skills.
Innovate and make an impact:
Together with fellow MITAS engineers
and geoscientists, you will develop your
ideas into real projects and pitch them to
senior management. During the second
year of the MITAS programme you will
learn about Innovation and Change

Management by spending one week at an


internationally acclaimed university.
Receive career guidance: A senior
mentor will guide you and help you
with your personal and professional
development as well as help you plan your
career progression.
Develop an international network: The
