CommunicationPolicy

1. YatraGeniewilltrytoprovidethebestpossibleservicesandguaranteeofservices.
2. YatraGenieresoponsibilitiesdoNOTinclude:
Delays and/or cancellations caused due to natural disasters, political
scenariosandothersituationsbeyondourcontrol.
Unforeseenmalfunctioningofequipmentorvehicle.
Loss,damageortheftofcustomer'sbaggage.
3. Thearrivalanddeparturetimes mentioned on the ticket are only tentativetimings .
However the bus will not leave the source before the time that is mentioned on the
ticket.
4. Passengersarerequiredtofurnishthefollowingatthetimeofboardingthebus:
A copy of the ticket (A print out of the ticket or the print out of the ticket e

mail).

Identityproof (Driving license, Student ID card, Company ID card, Passport,


PANcardorVoterIDcard).
Failingtodoso,theymaynotbeallowedtoboardthebus.
5. Changeofbus:

In case the type of bus is changed due to some reason, we will refund the
differential amount to the customer upon being intimated by the customers in
24hoursofthejourney.
6. PleaseContactBusOperatorforexactCancellation/RefundPolicies
7. Cancellationwillnotbepermittedifthepassengermissesthebusforanyreason.
8. Thetransactioncharges or the home delivery charges or Service Tax , will not be
refundedintheeventofticketcancellation
9. In case a booking confirmation email and sms gets delayed or fails because of
technical reasons or as a result of incorrect email ID / phone number provided by the
user etc., a ticket will be considered 'booked' as long as the ticket shows up on the
confirmation page of www.yatragenie.com. If the user has not received any intimation
ofbooking,butpaymenthasbeenmade,theusermustcontactustonotifythesame.
10. Ticket Fares are updated by respective operator and it is subject to change without
notice.

1. By accepting the terms and conditions the customer accepts that YatraGenie may send the alerts to the mobile phone
numberprovidedbythecustomerwhileregisteringfortheserviceortoanysuchnumberreplacedandinformedbythe
customer.Thecustomeracknowledgesthatthealertswillbereceivedonlyifthemobilephoneisin'On'modetoreceive
theSMS.Ifthemobilephoneisin'Off'modethenthecustomermaynotget/getafterdelayanyalertssentduringsuch
period.
2. YatraGeniewillmakebesteffortstoprovidetheserviceanditshallbedeemedthatthecustomershallhavereceivedthe
informationsentfromYatraGenieasanalertonthemobilephonenumberprovidedduringthecourseofticketbooking
andYatraGenie shall not be under any obligation to confirm the authenticity of the person(s) receiving the alert. The
customercannotholdYatraGenieliablefornonavailabilityoftheserviceinanymannerwhatsoever.
3. The customer acknowledges that the SMS service provided by YatraGenie is an additional facility provided for the
customer's convenience and that it may be susceptible to error, omission and/ or inaccuracy. In the event the customer
observesanyerrorintheinformationprovidedinthealert,YatraGenieshallbeimmediatelyinformedaboutthesameby
thecustomerandYatraGenie will make best possible efforts to rectify the error as early as possible. The customer shall
notholdYatraGenieliableforanyloss,damages,claim,expenseincludinglegalcostthatmaybeincurred/sufferedby
thecustomeronaccountoftheSMSfacility.
4. The customer acknowledges that the clarity, readability, accuracy, and promptness of providing the service depend on
many factors including the infrastructure, connectivity of the service provider. YatraGenie shall not be responsible for
anynondelivery,delayeddeliveryordistortionofthealertinanywaywhatsoever.
5. The customer acknowledges that by sharing the mobile number with YatraGenie he/she is willing to receive SMS
regarding various offers and coupons that YatraGenie publishes. If the customer does not want to receive such
communication,he/shecansendanemailtosupport@yatragenie.comrequestingforthesame.
6. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless YatraGenie and the SMS service provider including its officials
fromanydamages,claims,demands,proceedings,loss,cost,chargesandexpenseswhatsoeverincludinglegalcharges
andattorneyfeeswhichYatraGenieandtheSMSserviceprovidermayatanytimeincur,sustain,sufferorbeputtoasa
consequence of or arising out of (i) misuse, improper or fraudulent information provided by the customer, (ii) the
customerprovidingincorrectnumberorprovidinganumberthatbelongstothatofanunrelatedthirdparty,and/or(iii)
the customer receiving any message relating to the reservation number, travel itinerary information, booking
confirmation, modification to a ticket, cancellation of ticket, change in bus schedule, delay, and/or rescheduling from
YatraGenieand/ortheSMSserviceprovider.
7. ByacceptingthetermsandconditionsthecustomeracknowledgesandagreesthatYatraGeniemaycallthemobilephone
numberprovidedbythecustomerwhileregisteringfortheserviceortoanysuchnumberreplacedandinformedbythe
customer,forthepurposeofcollectingfeedbackfromthecustomerregardingtheirtravel,thebusfacilitiesand/orservices
ofthebusoperator.
8. GrievancesandclaimsrelatedtothebusjourneyshouldbereportedtoYatraGeniesupportteamwithin10daysofyour
traveldate.
