GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO SUBCONTRACTORS
Listed below is the current approval status of your documents. Refer to status code listed hereunder for further information. Revisions originated
by the Subcontractor shall be identified by revision triangles with revision numbers and by revision clouds which shall be removed after each
approval cycle.
- CB&I Subcontracts representative must be advised immediately of any price or delivery change before proceeding.
- Correct and resubmit documents stamped '3' or '4' within 10 working days.
- Stamp documents "Certified" and resubmit within 10 working days for documents returned stamped '2'.

3.1 Analog current inputs measurement test (maximum error under the accuracy declared by manufacturer in the device's inputs specifications). This test will be done by
secondary injection of the currents shown in the following table, and its result will be positive if the calculated error is below the accuracy specified by the relay
manufacturer as stated in the reference manual.

This test will be done by applying 125 Vdc from the auxiliary DC output of the test set to the specific input pair of terminals. For example, for testing C5 input, the positive polarity of
the DC signal must be applied to the C5 terminal and the negative polarity to C11 (Common reference terminal for the whole set of digital inputs). The change of state in the digital
input being tested must be verified through the Actual Values menu in the EnerVista SR3 Setup software after establishing connection with the relay being tested, as it is shown in
the next capture.

3.6 Operation of all output contacts available in the relay (closing or opening of the output contacts from the activation of any logic programmed in the
relay).

This test will be done through the activation of an auxiliary logic programmed just for the purpose of testing the output contacts. Such logic will be programmed as a bypass signal,
which means that by the activation of a contact input (using the same method explained before) the contact output being tested is activated. A graphic explanation for programming
this logic is given below:

3.7 Adequate operation of the logic functions programmed in the relay, if applicable, by activating the input elements of such logics, according to the logic scheme implemented
and using the wiring diagrams as a guide.
