Handy Hints
1.Please consider felt tips on
chairs to reduce noise to those
below.Consider bare
feet,slippers, or thongs on
your feet for the same reason.
2.Please dry off before
entering lifts after swimming
3.Watch your car speed in the
complex especially in front of
the townhouses.
Gardens and
grounds
Looking good following
mulching,new plants still going
in.Driveways / paths soon to
be pressure cleaned to
eliminate mould. Volunteers
are helping reduce our costs.
Thanks to those men and
women who give up their time.
Recycling
Recycling will soon be
available for the townhouses.
Geoff Norris has been liaising
with Council and we are to
replace the large waste bin
with two smaller bins-one for
general waste-and another for
recycling.Just a reminder to
closely follow the guidelines
and remember that one wrong
item can ruin a load.

Community Spirit
In this busy world with all its
responsibilities, we often
overlook our own recreation and
interaction with others
St Kitts needs a creative
person,or a group who can take
control of organising community
get togethers,fund raisers for
charity, or just a getting to know
your neighbour evening.
There are social functions across
all the buildings at St Kitts, but
there is nothing to bring us
together as a group.A Christmas
Party might be a good place to
start and, if someone would like
to raise their hand and volunteer
as our Social Convenor, we would
love to meet you.
Functions can be held in the
gym,under the lift canopies,on
common property lawn areas
or,perhaps an exclusive use area
owner may like to host a garden
party on a waterfront lawn.
You can meet with the
Managers,Committee members
or, just maybe you have never
met the people next door.
Please send me an e-mail on
eddsfam@bigpond.com if you
would care to help.

Community Broadband
At the last Committee meeting the Committee decided not
to proceed with Community Broadband due to perceptions
around installation cost for our Community, and ongoing
maintenance issues.I have since been advised that there are
no ongoing costs, but the installation fee of $4,500 would
need to be shared between subscribers.I am aware of interest
from several residents in this technology and, before we put
the issue aside permanently,I seek expressions of interest
from those people who would like to attend an information
evening with the business proposing this innovation. If you are
interested e-mail me on eddsfam@bigpond.com. and, if there
is sucient interest, I will invite them to have an informal
talk.
Last Words
St Kitts is looking good, we seem to have general harmony,
and that there are less problems than exist in most other
communities of 85 dierent homes. It is a tribute to your
tolerance, good natures, and the sprit of community that
ensures we live a happy communal life. Our diversity is the
thing that brings us together, and I thank you all, owners and
tenants, for your contribution. Thanks to Geo and Heather
for their ongoing eorts.
See you around St Kitts
