Sika Waterproofing Slurry

Waterproofing Slurry and Moisture Seal
Description

An easy to use cement based powder containing waterproofing

additives. After mixing with water into a slurry consistency, it is applied
to concrete substrates to seal against water infiltration.

Uses

Sika W aterproofing Slurry seeks out and block the pores in

concretes structures such as:

Construction

- Basements
- Water-tanks
- Impermeable
- Non-toxic
- Chloride free
Recommended Consumption - For ordinary water conditions : a minimum 2 coats at 1 kg/m2/coat of
Sika Waterproofing Slurry should be applied.
- For high water pressure a total thickness of 2 mm. or approximately 3 kg/m2
is recommended.

Instructions for Use

Surface Preparation

Concrete surface must be clean, sound, level and uncontaminated by oil

or grease. Remove cement laitance, formwork traces and loosely adhering
particles by sandblasting or high-pressure water jet. Make good honeycombing and other imperfections with cement mortar. Wet surface until
saturated.

Mixing

Add powder to given amount of water, and stir with a low speed mixer for
5 minutes until a lump free smooth consistency is achieved.

Application

Use a medium-hard brush with plastic or mortar spraying machine. In each case
after applying, the slurry must be worked well into the surface. Repeat for
second coat.
