Terms and conditions for Airtel Broadband Surprises

Broadband Surprises (Surprise) are gratuitous benefits provided on a discretionary basis by

Airtel to its DSL broadband customers who are availing the broadband service of Airtel as of 30
June 2015. The Surprise may consist of one of the following: extra data capacity, higher speed or
a one-time discount, which will be provided at Airtels sole option and discretion.

To avail the Surprise, an eligible customer must visit the page broadbandsurprises.airtel.in and
enter his/her DSL ID, or STD Code & landline number associated with the DSL connection.

If the customer is eligible for the Surprise, the Customers DSL ID will be configured with either
of the options available under the Surprise, i.e., extra data capacity, higher speed or a one-time
discount. However, the Customer is not permitted to choose the Surprise and the selection will
be made at Airtels discretion. No disputes or claims in this respect will be entertained.

The quantum of the Surprise, i.e., whether extra data capacity, higher speed or discount, is
purely random and each customer may receive a different quantum. For instance, if a customer
receives extra data capacity as the Surprise, one customer may receive 10 GB of extra data,
another may receive 40 GB and another may receive 5 GB.

Extra data capacity and higher speed, if received, will remain valid only for the plan which was
active when the customer availed the Surprise. If the plan is subsequently changed by the
customer, the Surprise will be withdrawn.

Higher speed, if received, will replace the customers current plan speed.

7.

The discount, if received, is a ONE-TIME cash discount which will be valid for the billing cycle
during which the customer avails the Surprise. Discount will not be provided in subsequent bills.

8.

The Surprise is made available at the discretion of Airtel and Airtel may at its discretion
withdraw the Surprise at any time. If Airtel withdraws the Surprise, the customer will be
reverted to the plan as existing immediately before availing the Surprise.

9.

While Airtel will endeavor to provide the Surprise to all eligible customers, the Surprise may not
be available, whether partially or entirely in some areas due to any reason. In case a customer
does not receive a Surprise, no claims in this respect will be entertained and Airtel will have no
liability for the same.

10.

Customers who are in default of payment may not be eligible for the Surprise.

11.

AIRTEL HAS NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER IN RESPECT OF ANY CLAIMS OR DISPUTES AND ANY
RESULTING DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, RELATING TO THE
CUSTOMER AVAILING, NOT RECEIVING OR CUSTOMERS USE OF THE SURPRISE.

12.

AIRTEL MAKES NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS WHATSOEVER IN RESPECT OF THE

SURPRISE AND THE BROADBAND SERVICES INCLUDING AS TO ITS FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, QUALITY, AVAILABILITY, DISRUPTION OR ERROR FREE
OPERATION.

13.

Broadband availability and speeds are not constant and may vary for a number of reasons,
including but not limited to infrastructure, congestion, availability of the network, number of
active users, weather, topography, acts of God or force majeure.

14.

All disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in New Delhi.
