Admissions Requirements

Completed application form

To study at Sault College, you need to

complete secondary school (high school)
and meet our English language proficiency
requirements. Some programs require additional
skills in math and science. See the academic
program table for specific program requirements.

Scanned copies of your high school

transcript (and college/university
transcript if applicable); followed by
official documents and

English Language Proficiency OPTIONS:

1. Completion of 3 years of secondary school (high
school) with exclusively English instruction
2. IELTS score of 6.0 with no band lower than
5.5 with test results within the last two years;
IELTS score of 6.5 is required for those students
applying to the Pharmacy Technician program
3. Other acceptable tests of English proficiency
such as TOEFL, TOEIC, or PTE ask for
more details!

If English is not your first language, send the

results of your English language proficiency
test. Your application cannot be processed
until your application is complete.
3. Once youve received a letter of acceptance
from us, you will need to apply for a study
permit (Form IMM1294). Contact the
nearest Canadian Embassy or visit www.cic.
gc.ca/english/study for more information

On-campus housing: living in residence

provides free laundry facilities, wireless
internet, kitchenette, meal plan, a phone
line and residence advisors.
International Orientation
Each semester there is an orientation to
introduce you to Sault College and the city. There
are also events throughout the year to help you
meet other students and learn about Canada.

If you do not have the required English proficiency,

you may receive a conditional offer of admission
to your program if you enrol in Sault Colleges EAP
program. EAP has continuous intake year-round.
Each semester is 14 weeks with approximately
20 hours of instruction per week. Contact
