VGP 4.2 Section 8 (ix) Graywater

Estimated volume and location of discharged while in waters subject to this permit. All vessels that have the capacity to store graywater shall not
discharge that graywater in waters listed in Part 12.1. For vessels that cannot store graywater, vessels must minimize the production of graywater
while in waters listed in Part 12.1. When the vessel has adequate graywater storage capacity, the vessel shall not discharge graywater into nutrient
impaired waters subject to this permit (e.g., the Chesapeake Bay or Puget Sound). A complete list of such waters can be found at
www.epa.gov/npdes/vessels. Where the vessel does not have adequate storage capacity to eliminate such discharges, graywater production and
discharge must be minimized in such waters. Any such discharge must be conducted while the vessel is underway in areas with significant
circulation and depth to the extent feasible
