much quicker than most other programs, despite having the same
workload. You may think this is a bad thing, but it was amazing.

The structure of the program is demanding and requires participants to be fully committed, but in
turn provides the necessary edge to learn and develop the right skills, tools and command over
processes. Active methodologies are used throughout the program. Case analysis and discussion
play a signicant role, together with traditional lessons, guided discussions, practical exercises,
business games, simulations, rst-hand business experiences, individual projects, group work,

Our Program starts with a one-week MBA bootcamp, during which you are asked to understand
and live the essence of your forthcoming year. The Opening Week is structured into ve days:
Day One
The rst day celebrates the kick-off of the program with SDA Bocconi management, faculty, staff,
and a group of alumni that will welcome you on board.
Day Two
The second day of the Opening Week will give you the opportunity to know the details
of SDA Bocconi School of Management, Universit Bocconi and your MBA curriculum.
Day Three
The third day is about experiencing the international environment of your class and
getting acquainted with the different cultures and habits of your classmates.
Day Four
In the fourth day you will have the chance to interact with a sampling of key stakeholders
for your future career: recruiters, career service, and alumni.
Day Five
In the nal day of the Opening Week, you will take part in what normally happens in a morning
of MBA teaching sessions.

Concentrations
In the nal two months of the program you have the opportunity to focus your path on those specic
managerial subjects congruent with your preferences and abilities. Each year, around twenty
electives are offered during the Concentrations, allowing students to gain in-depth skills in topics of

in parallel in groups of 2.

International Competitions
Every year our students participate in a number of international competitions
where they meet and compete against teams from other Schools. Students from
the class of 2013 won the A.T. Kearney Global Prize competition, while MBA
2014 students won second place at the Venture Capital Investment Competition
at IESE in Barcelona. SDA Bocconi team came second in the 2015 Healthcare
Case Competition organized by Warwick Business School in London.

Bocconi and SDA Bocconi Alumni live and work in more than 110
countries. The Alumni network is developing local chapters in a vast
