Installation Instructions for BENCO Outbound Interface

Environment Name: Oracle Applications (R
11.5.10)

Machine: Red Hat Linux 2.4.9

Pre-Installation Steps
Before performing the Setup, please ensure that the following setups are
done.

Ensure that the XBOL_TOP exists with the forms, bin, conversion, sql
and reports subdirectories in the application server. Make sure that
all the directories have required permissions.

Ensure that environment variable $XBOL_TOP is set for the login used
in the application server.

Ensure that the XBOL_TOP is registered with Application Object

Library.

Ensure that login through which the installation is done contains the
read, write and execute permission to the files in $XBOL_TOP in the
application server.

Ensure that login through which the installation is done contains the
permission to untar files.

Ensure that the common error Handling Package CATS_COMMON_PK

and
CATS_ERRORS_PK are compiled in Bolinf

Ensure that the Profile options and Value sets related to this object
are defined in application.

Log into the Application Unix Server.

Untar the tar file using the command

Installation Steps
FTP the following files the $HOME_PATH in Binary mode:
CATS_HRMS_BENCO.tar
tar -xvf CATS_HRMS_BENCO.tar

Change the mode of the Install Script CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_INST.sh

using the command.
chmod 777 CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_INST.sh
Run the Installation Script using the
sh CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_INST.sh |tee BENCO.log
o

The Script prompts for APPS Password until a valid Password

is entered.

The Script prompts for BOLINF Password until a valid

Password is entered.

Verification Checklist
Verify that the customization has been properly installed by following these
steps:

Check whether all the files listed below are in tar file

CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_PK.pls

CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_GT.sql

CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_CONC.ldt

CATS_HR_BENCO_ARC_CONC.ldt

CATS_HR_BENCO_GRRP.ldt

CATS_HR_BENCO_RLINK.ldt

CATS_HR_BENCO_RSET.ldt

CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_INST.sh

Check whether all the files listed below are in their respective
directories.
o CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_PK.pls in
$XBOL_TOP/sql
o

CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT

Check whether the following concurrent Programs have been defined.

o

CATS BENCO Outbound Interface

CATS BENCO Output File Archiving

Check whether the following Request Set has been defined.

o

$XBOL_TOP/sql

Check whether the following execuatbe have been defined.

o

CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_GT.sql in

CATS BENCO Outbound Interface

Check whether the following Request Set has been attached to Cutsom
Request Group CATS Custom.
o

CATS BENCO Outbound Interface

Check whether the following packages are created (Specification and

body) in BOLINF schema.
o CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_PK

Check whether synonyms are created for the following packages in

APPS schema.
o CATS_HR_BENCO_OUT_PK
