Qualification/Experience
MCS/M.Sc Engg. Elect./Computer/Software with 10 years relevant experience in design,
deployment and management of large scale heterogeneous networks. Preference shall
be given to applications having MCITP, CCNP, CCIE, Fiber Optics, Firewall Professional
trainings and Certifications:
Masters in Computer Sciences/ Information Technology with minimum 5 years relevant
experience in managing large scale heterogeneous network.
Candidate must have CCNP along with MCITP certifications. Preference shall be given
to applicants having experience in managing network applications and virtualization.
Master in Computer Sciences/Information Technology with minimum 5 years relevant
experience in designing and managing large scale web portals, having strong coding
skills in ASP/.NET, PHP etc. with excellent aesthetic sense. Working experience with
dynamic web portals will also be preferred.
Master in Computer Sciences/Information Technology or equivalent with minimum 5 year
relevant experience in managing large scale heterogeneous networks in reputable
organization.
Candidate must have CCNA certification.
Preference shall be given to applicants having hands-on experience with fiber optics
cables and network deployment, Firewall professional Trainings and Certifications.
B.Sc. Civil Engineering, from a recognized University;
OR
Diploma of Associate Engineer (Civil) Engineering with ten years experience as SubEngineer/ Overseer.
Masters Degree in Library Science from a recognized University and three years
experience in the relevant field.
Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with Diploma in Library Sciences
BCS from a recognized University,
OR
Three-years Diploma of Associate Engineer in Computer Science from a Board of
Technical Education with three years practical experience
i) Graduate from a recognized University, and
ii) A speed of 100 words per minute in short-hand in English and 40 words per minute
in typewriting.
DAE with 3 year relevant experience in LANs deployment and maintenance.
Preferences shall be given to applicants having working experience in heterogeneous
Networks Operating System Environment and layer 2/3 switches and routers
Higher qualifications with no experience is also allowed.
Three years Diploma of Associate Engineering in (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical and
Computer Engineering) from a recognized Institution or Equivalent qualification with
three years experience.

Postal Order or Bank Draft/ Bank Challan HBL, UET Branch of the value, BPS-18 Rs. 150/- & BPS-17 Rs. 100/- in
favour of the Treasurer, UET Taxila.

4.

The UET-Taxila and Government employees are required to apply Through Proper Channel.

5.

Age Relaxation may be considered in suitable cases as per government rules.

6.

The University reserves the rights not to fill any post/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without
assigning any reason.

7.

Application on prescribed form, completed in all respect must reach in the office of the R&I Cell, UET, Taxila on or
before 19-10-2015 (Monday) upto 03:30 pm.

8.

Incomplete applications or those received after the due date regardless of the date of dispatch shall not be
considered.

9.

5% reserved quota for minorities will also be considered during the recruitment process.

10.

3% quota is reserved for disable persons as per Government rules.

11.

No TA/DA will be paid for the -interview/test etc.
