We have three different models, designed and manufactured in compliance of Agricow
tradition: a perfect mix between environment and economy, through the use of recyclable

It is important that the animal remains insulated from the cold of the concrete surfaces and
has clean and dry berth.
Our mattresses can be covered with a woven polypropylene mesh with waterproof
high strength and toughness that allows the flow of urine on a flat surface and
without allowing hollows to keep the animal clean.

The cover has been subjected to an abrasion test by using a ground cloth with 280 grain which has been applied a pressure of 500 N on
a total area of 61.5 cm2 (8.13 N/cm2 equal to about 1 kg/cm2).
The depth of abrasion, after 20,000 rotations in both directions was about 0.4 mm ie 13% of the total.
Were removed in total 1.6 g of material.

The AGRICOW Baby mattress is the traditional mat composed of six cells filled with shavings
rubber and rubber.
10 cm high, compact and very flexible, it is ideal for installation in cubicles plain concrete.

The AGRICOW Eco-Latex 5 cm. or 7 cm. Top Relax mattresses have been designed to ensure the
right compromise between softness and resistance to loads, loss of balance and avoiding accidental
falls. The particular structure of the AGRICOW Eco-Latex mattresses always allows it to return to
its original thickness.
The AGRICOW Eco-Latex mattresses showed no sign of sagging even after 100,000 rounds of
impact. Both the cover and the mattress with open cell structure, allow the passage of air under
the animal while avoiding dangerous irritation of the breasts.

Mesh fabric Yellow / Black

The cover in coated mesh is composed by a high tenacity polypropylene waterproof
which allows flow of slurry on a flat surface without sinking in allowing to keep
the animal clean.

It is also available without the inside spread.

Agricow fabric 900 den Black

The cover is in a Raschel fabric thermo fixed coated .
It is 100% polypropylene: waterproof, multifilament, UV stabilized and is entirely
recyclable.
The cover does not absorb moisture, due to its geometry is extremely soft and at
the same time offering high standards of roughness.

Rubber BS
The BS rubber fabric is 3 mm thickness.
It is an elastomeric fabric composed of styrene-butadiene with excellent resistance
to abrasion and aging stability.
The red part below is a type of polyester used in conveyor belts with characteristics
of good flexibility, impact resistance and flexural resistance, waterproof with strong
stability and no-mould.

CUBICLES MATTRESS COW TRADITION

In the tradition of AGRICOW, the self blocking mattress for bed used with sand COW
TRADITION is the result of studies and field experiences conducted over the years with the
collaboration of expert farmers.
It is a rubber-cell structure that allows the use of sand on a cubicle with no problems
l e a k a g e o r d e p r e s s i o n s c a u s e d b y n a t u ra l d i g g i n g a c t i v i t y o f a n i m a l s.
Full of sand it became a uniform base of inorganic material, chemically inert, soft and dry. It is
inalterable from physical and chemical point of view. It avoids formation of hollow due to the
animals, so the bunk results comfortable and clean.
Prevents the formation of holes and depressions, makes the cubicles more comfortable and hygienic.
AGRICOW Cow Tradition avoid problems of sand leakage from the bunk. You can keep the
bunk with sand, straw and sawdust. Reduction to the minimum of restoration interventions with
consequent discount on maintenance costs.
The cell structure prevents the escape of sand about 70% less than traditional cubicle.
The AGRICOW Cow Tradition is cheap and easy to be installed, suitable for all bunks and can
be fixed simply with dowels to the floor.

AGRICOW internally manufactures Stall Mats and Dairy Flooring thanks to a big investment
in machinery, moulds, and specialized software that puts us among the leading manufacturers of
providers of market stalls all over the world.
The production process is constantly monitored and updated.
Our mats are ideal for walking areas, milking parlor, reception areas and corridors or in the small
graders.
It is particularly advantageous in areas where cows spend most of the time, because it reduces
the pressure on the hooves and legs.
The AGRICOWS rubber mats have a slip-resistant surface and that provides a rough
great friction as a function of movement, provide maximum traction facilitating greatly the movement
of cows in the barn.
Studies and tests have shown in fact that cows walk faster and slip much less on the rubber floor.
70% of cows walking on concrete floor glide at least slip once, but only 20% slip when walking
on the rubber mats AGRICOW.

The AGRICOWS rubber mats holds the

Fokus Test 08-376 having passed the tests of resistance
to abrasion and resistance to slipping and was
one of best in class.
The DLG Test Fokus is a voluntary audit focused on one or more aspects of a partial
product, such as strength or quality.
The DLG provides the certification mark Fokus Test accompanied by benchmarks used
for the award of the certification, which is a guarantee of reliability.
The tests which were carried out on two products are:

The rubber mat Agricow was subjected to an abrasion test by using a kind of sandpaper
to which it was applied a pressure of up to 500N a total area of 61.5 cm2 (equivalent to
approximately 8.13 N/cm2 1Kg/cm2).
The depth abrasion, after 20,000 rotations in both directions was equal to 3.2 mm or 17%
of the total thickness. There were removed in total 8.7gr of material.

Agricow rotating brushes are designed to improve the health of the cow, the comfort
and welfare.
They are produced internally in our factories with stringent testing and quality control.
They can be supplied with 220v or 110v motors in different colors.
The hourglass-shaped rolls ensure the correct ergonomic pressure and grip on the animal.
They start to rotate on contact, due to the software applied and developed, the brush start
alternating their departure at once in the right once in left.

AGRICOW owns the Italian patent No. 1360795 of May 19, 2009 (presented with request
BS2005A000032 on March 11, 2005) relating to "Apparatus for brushing
cattle" and the equivalent European patent No. 1665927 of 23.01.2006 valid in the states
members of the European Patent Convention.
The patent states that the oscillating brush AGRICOW is equipped with two locks that prevent
the same to rotate freely.
This is fundamental to massage the skin as it is carried on the back the correct pressure on the
animal, as opposed to brushes of competitors ranging freely in all directions, with bumps that
create pain and annoy the animal.

The generous dimensions of the rolls 50x100 cm ensure a thorough and careful cleaning.
A study conducted in USA Universities shows that dairy cows through the use of the brush give
greater milk production and fewer cases of clinical mastitis.
The research team concluded that the cows using the brush showed a significant increase in milk
production up to 1 kg per day.

The staff of the research team has immediately noticed the frequent and intense use of the brush
by the animals and the desire to use it.
Another important observation is the significant reduction in clinical mastitis (over 30%) between

The most recent result of constant research and development is the Agricow
advanced motorized claw treatment crush with 4 motors for all the legs of the cow,
to ensure greater comfort and safety both the animal and the operator.
The size of the machine, the ground cover with a rubber mat specifically designed,
have been amended to provide greater comfort and tranquility in the animal
operations.
It is manufacture internally in our factory in galvanized steel.
With the AGRICOWS motorized Crush you can complete a treatment every 5 minutes.
The cows do not have time to move, shake and kicking.
Bulky parts have been moved for greater ease of movement of the animal.
Front bumper has been made on the opening for operator safety and a new
system of opening and closing very fast and easy.
Very easy then, management ok the knees, whose angles were studied for
natural movement, especially in order to avoid injuries to hocks, tendons and ligaments.
The ergonomics of the machine has been optimized, then, to offer the best performance for different
sizes of animals, from bigger to smaller, like the possibility to adjust the rear roller.

For this reason, the lifting of the struts is crucial to managing the operations on the limb without
effort and suffering.
The animal is placed on the front and does not in any way the power situation of the hind legs.
The development of the crush was made possible thanks the collaboration of a group of farriers
operating in Lombardy: Mauro Castagnola, Angelo Rossetti and Ivano Chiti.

The fresh air is the key to proper ventilation and comfort.

For optimum ventilation, fresh air should enter into the stable, and easily replace
contaminated air. The replacement must be done without current.
Clean air is not contaminated lowers the chance of disease.
The AGRICOWS destratificators move large quantities of air with a low power supply
(0.37 to 0.75 kW).
More performances are achievable with the use of an inverter.
AGRICOWS destratificators have a very low noise level, due to the result of the advanced construction
technology. The installation of the fun does not present particularly difficulties.
The fun creates a soft air supply from above and covers the whole range (about 4 times the length of singleblade) to cover evenly, giving good results even in low sheds.
The recycling of the air keep the flies away.
It is suggested to install the fun in the stables at least 4.50 meters tall.
