Need the Ultimate in Sherline(TM) Precision?
You can now have the super precision and flexibility with our new patent pending ER25,
ER32, ER40 and ER50 for the Sherline lathe, mill or custom setup! Our headstocks come
preloaded with the spindle and bearing into a Sherline head casing. We use them in our
everyday manufacturing process for our sister companies for precision .0005 TIR. In fact,
we turn parts with our ER systems with .00005+/- everyday...even though the Sherline
headstocks say they arent even rated for that kind of precision.

Hold your work piece much more securely than ever possible before. The tiny WW
Sherline collets 1160 & 1162 or the Sherline chucks cant even come close. The more
surface area that you have clamped the better, right? You bet! Plus, our spindles have
a through hole for extra long stock.

- Larger Work Piece Size for Lathes and Tool Size for Mills
Here is a breakdown of what your new Sherline collet spindle system can hold size wise:
ER25 For collet sizes 1/16 to 5/8 - Through hole is .30(optional .55)
ER32 For collet sizes 3/32 to 25/32 - Through hole is .55 (optional .789)
ER40 For collet sizes 1/8 to 1 - Through hole is .55 (optional .789)
ER50 For collet sizes .394 to 1.339 Through hole .789

You can now hold work pieces up to 1 in diameter in your lathe or your
mill using collets. This truly allows you to get the most flexibility out
of your Sherline like never before. Imaging the different end mills and
cutters you can choose from or even a 3D alignment indicator or edge
finder systems with a 3/4 shank!

Amazing Accuracy for Demanding Users

You no longer have to deal with the, just OK, accuracy of the Sherline chucks...or the super tiny Sherline WW
collet system that dont allow for thick or longer stock to be held. Remember, the more surface area that you are
clamping...the more surface area you can cut. Of the ER systems we offer, using our ER32 and ER40 headstocks will
allow you the maximum clamping surface area and the largest stock holding capabilities.

You can now use most standard 3 jaw chucks or, 4 to 5 Jaw Chucks with an
adapter plate. Your new Sherline headstock also has a MT3 bore for collets!

Want More Power For Your Sherline(TM) Lathe, Mill or Custom Setup?
The stock Sherline motor is a good motor, however you may have noticed that it could really use more power...how
about a boost to 600, 800, 1,000 or even 1,400 watts! Thats nearly twice the power. Plus, its High Torque at any
RPM. Imagine using a 600 Watt High Torque Industrial Continuous Duty Brushless Motor on your lathe or mill. The
standard pulley with our motor kit will give you about 4,780 RPM. If you want less speed and more power, you can
simply make a smaller motor pulley.

About MAS, LLC
We started as a small manufacturing facility for performance engine parts and continue in that line of business
today. In the beginning, we searched high and low to find super precision tool setups for small lathes and mills.
We settled on a Sherline CNC system and discovered its limitations on precision immediately. Everything seem
to be off by up to several thousandths, even after taking considerable time to dial everything in. The Sherline product
line up is great for the hobbyist, but it is just not suited for some industrial applications...until now.
Necessity is the Mother of Invention
After much trial and error, we developed our own adaptations to make our Sherline lathe a super precision
machine. Developing a collet system that could handle long stock was the key for us. Amazingly, we were
soon putting out parts with precision down to +/-.00005 out of round...and that was even beyond the
specifications of the headstock itself! With this success, we decided...Hey, if we love our setups so much,
maybe others are looking for the same!. So, there it is in nut shell....

All of our headstocks leave here fully tested. We offer a 60 replacement warranty against defective parts.
Buying pays for shipping to us and we will pay for return shipping. For kits or products that must be installed
by the buyer, we do not cover damage during installation (which Im sure you know, but we had to say it).
