April is when the U.S. Government
is sending out their census forms.
The process may be a bit confus-
ing, but PPL is here to help!
The PPL Learning Center will
be a Census Be Counted Site.
This means that we will have
census forms available on-site
for you to fill out.
The PPL Service Center will be
a Census Questionnaire Assis-
tance Center. The Center will
assist people in the comple-
tion of the census question-
naires, offer language assis-
tance and answer questions
about the census.

Help Keep Minneapolis Parks Clean
April 19th is Earth Day and the City of Minneapolis needs your help!
The goal of Earth Day is to provide both a volunteer experience and
environmental education to Minneapolis residents and park users.
This annual event involves cleaning major watersheds and water
bodies in the City of Minneapolis.
In 2009, over
3,000 volunteer at It’s easy to get involved. No pre-registration is

Job Search Tip….
A great way to leave a good impression after an interview is to send the in-
terviewer a thank-you note. Make sure to:
Thank them again for their time.
Reiterate why you want the position.
Mention something you learned from them in the interview and let
them know you are still interested.
The note does not have to be a novel—a few sentences are fine. Be sure
you have their correct contact information after the interview by getting
their business card before you leave.
