Our Challenges
Economic policies under democracy regime encourages investment
widest. It gave impact that increasing the Indonesia GDP exceeds
USD 3000/capita on 2013. Its made Indonesia became 10th largest
economic country in the world.
In the other hand, there is other result : the growing gap between
high income people with the marginalized citizens.
The practice of democracy, which allows people freely meet the
economic needs, has been resulting in the exclusion of some other
vulnerable groups and marginalized people.
"All men are created equal" (United States Declaration of
Independence, July 4, 1776), but in reality, "people develop
differently"

Our Potency
The reform era has prompted the emergence of a wide range of community initiatives to
participate in helping the government to solve various problems of the nation
Civic participation potency in eradicating poverty and social problems. ( Action Plan of Open

Public participation is one of the pillars of democracy
The growth of Changemakers initiative, is a huge potential in terms
of alleviation of social problems
The Challenges we face today - from saving our planet to ending
poverty - are simply too big for government to solve alone. We
need all hands on deck (Barrack Obama, the Office of Social
Innovation and Civic Participation, 2009).
