CHRISTMAS AT UTTOXETER RACECOURSE STARTS THIS YEAR WITH


A FESTIVE FAMILY RACEDAY ON 22 NOVEMBER
Uttoxeter Racecourses first Christmas race meeting of the year should also prove to be a
perfect day out for all the family.
The Festive Family Raceday on Sunday 22 November will include a visit by the Ice Queen
and her reindeer, the mischievous Whizzy Rascals, a Christmas Market in the Paddock
Pavilion, and six exciting races.
Best of all - kids go free.
The gates open at 11am, with the first race of the day scheduled for 13.20, and the last at
15.50.
Ticket prices for the day start at 10 for the Centre Course, but all of the festive fun will take
place in the Grandstand and Paddock, and Premier, areas where ticket prices start at 17.
Under 18s are admitted free of charge, and full details of all of the packages available can

The Festival Family Raceday is guaranteed to get the party started at Uttoxeter Racecourse
where a Five Days of Christmas series of party nights for 2015 gets under way on Friday 27
November with a Hits of the Decades DJ Night.
Other dates for the Festive diary include: Saturday 5 December with Girls R Aloud & The
Spicey Girls; Friday 11 December, for an 80s Night with Wham Bam Duran; and Saturday 12
December with Tom Jones & Friends; before it all draws to a close on Friday 18 December
with a night of 80s Classics.

Prices for the party nights start at just 37 per person - which includes, a three-course dinner
created by award-winning head chef Emmett Cassidy, live music and a classic disco until the
early hours of the morning.
Christmas with AP McCoy on Thursday 10 December, meanwhile, will present Uttoxeter
Racecourse guests with the opportunity to look back at the career of 20 Times Champion
Jockey AP McCoy in conversation with Gary Newbon. Featuring a three course festive
meal, an auction and silent auction in aid of the Injured Jockeys Fund, and an interview and
Q&A session with AP McCoy, tickets are priced at 59, with tables of 10 being offered at
500.
Racing fans have a lot more to look forward to during November and December with three
more great race meetings, including a Winter Afternoon Racing race meet on Tuesday 8
December, the annual Christmas Party Raceday on Friday 18 December, and not forgetting
the traditional New Years Eve Raceday on Thursday 31 December.

Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle Racecourse, the Welsh National at Chepstow Racecourse and
Midlands National at Uttoxeter Racecourse.
As well as racing, ARC also operates a hotel at Wolverhampton Racecourse, a hotel, spa
resort and golf course at Lingfield Park and The Border Minstrel public house at Newcastle
Racecourse in the grounds of Gosforth Park.
