IncomeTaxExemption

ToMembers.AllcontributionsmadebymemberstowardslifeinsurancearetobetreatedasinsurancepremiumandwouldqualifyforreliefunderSection80CofIncomeTaxAct,1961
TotheSociety.AllincomesreceivedbytheSocietyareeligibleforexemptionundertheprovisionsofSection10(23)(c)(iv)andSection10(23AA)ofIncomeTaxAct,1961.

OnInterestEarnings.MinistryofFinancehaveissuedNotificationvideF275/29/85IT(B)dated05Jun85extendingtheexemptionunderSubSection3ofSection194AofITA
InsuranceSociety.Accordingly,noincometaxwillberecoverablebyCompaniesandBanksontheinterestpayabletotheSociety.

ForeclosureofDepositswithCompanieswithoutpenalty.GazetteNotificationNo.482(E)dated05Jun85,hasbeenissuedbytheGovernmentstatingthatdepositsmadebyAirF
SocietycouldbeforeclosedduringNationalEmergencybeforetheexpiryofmaturitydateandprovisionsofRule8ofAcceptanceofDepositsRules,1975regardingpenaltyclausew
contingencies.Thishasbeenmadeapplicablefordepositsmadeearlierto05Jun85also.
