2011: Participated in the XV All India Moot Court Competition (ULC, Bangalore
University): The Moot proposition was based on Constitutional Law involving topics
relating to Anti-Defection Laws and Presidential Power of invocation of Presidents
rule in a state.
2011: Participated in the 53rd Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court
Competition (India North Rounds): The Moot competition proposition was based on
issues relating to contemporary international law.
2010: Participated in the National Client Counseling Competition, Organized by
Maharaja Sayajirao Unviersity of Baroda.
2010: Participated in the National Drafting Competition, Organized by Maharaja
Sayajirao Unviersity of Baroda.
2009: Participated in the 5th Surana & Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot
Court Competition (India South Rounds): The Moot proposition was based on
criminal law and aimed at promoting Trial Advocacy skills.
2009: Participated in the Vth K.K. Luthra Memorial National Moot Court: The
Moot competition proposition dealt with the Criminal Procedure Code,1973; Indian
Penal Code,1860 and The Indian Evidence Act,1872.
2008: Participated in the 2nd Annual NALSAR Justice B.R. Sawhny Moot Court
Competition: The Moot competition proposition was based on Constitutional law and
dealt with challenging the constitutional validity of a legislation passed banning the
sale of alcoholic beverages.
2008: Participated in the 1st UILS Intra Deptt. Debate Competition. Competition
proposition dealt with Intellectual Property Rights with specific focus on the Indian
Copyright Act, 1957.
WORK EXPERIENCE
July 2013 Present: Appointed as Assistant District Attorney, Prosecution
Department, Government of Haryana upon the recommendation of Haryana Public
Service Commission (Secured rank 5 out of a total batch of 136).
Notified Government Pleader for the whole of the State of Haryana vide Haryana
Government Gazette Notification No. 7/29/2008-1JJ(1) dated 24.12.2013 [Date of
Publication in the Gazette: 14 January 2014] under the powers conferred by SubSection (7) of Section 2 Civil Procedure Code, 1908 to perform all functions expressly
imposed by the aforementioned Code except the functions specified in Rule 4 of Order
XXVII and Rule 6 of Order XXXIII of the First Schedule to the aforementioned Code,
from the date of joining service (i.e. 18 July 2013)

Notified Assistant Public Prosecutor for the whole of the State of Haryana vide
Haryana Government Notification No. 7/29/2008-1JJ(1) dated 24.12.2013 [Date of
Publication in the Gazette: 16 December 2014] in exercise of the powers conferred by
Sub-Section (1) of Section 25 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for the purpose
of the said Sub-Section, from the date of joining service (i.e. 18 July 2013)

18 July 2013 6 August 2013: Assumed charge as Asst District Attorney in the
Directorate of Secondary Education (O/o Director, Secondary Education),
Haryana at Panchkula. Work assigned primarily dealt with M.E. Branch and
matters pertaining to service law.

7 August 2013 Present: Assumed charge as Asst District Attorney in the Forest
Department (O/o Principal Chief Conservator of Forests), Haryana at Panchkula.
-As per work distribution order issued by Principal Chief Conservator of Forests
vide Office Order No. 346 dated 30.08.2013 entrusted with handling all the legal
affairs of Central Circle (comprising of Rohtak, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Jhajjar
divisions); all legal affairs except for labour matters of APCCF(Production), CCF
(Development) and South Circle (comprising of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Rewari,
Mahendergarh, Mewat, Palwal divisions); all legal matters pertaining to forest
land, and related matters being dealtwith by Naib Tehsildar posted at O/o PCCF,
Pkl; and all miscellaneous matters including but not limited to legal affairs of
Haryana Forest Development Corporation Limited, Seed and Research Divisions,
Training Divisions, matters pertaining to Right To Information Act, etc.
-As per subsequent work distribution order issued by Principal Chief Conservator
of Forests vide Office Order No.___ dated_______ entrusted with handling all
the legal affairs of South Circle (comprising of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Rewari,
Mahendergarh, Mewat, Palwal divisions); all the legal affairs of West Circle
(comprising of Sira, Hisar, Bhiwani, Jind, Fatehabad divisions); and placed as
being in charge of co-ordination with Assistant District Attorney posted in the O/
o Conservator of Forests, West Circle, Hisar.

July 2015 Present: Given Additional Charge at Administrative Department


Level, Haryana New Secretariat, Chandigarh in the O/o Principal Secretary to
Government of Haryana, Forest and Wildlife Department, Haryana.

August 2015 Present: In addition to aforementioned responsibilities of Forest


and Wildlife Department, deputed to assist Principal Secretary to Government of
Haryana, Forest and Wildlife Department in his duties as Financial
Commissioner to Government of Haryana in revenue matters and conduct of
court proceedings.

July 2012 July 2013: Practicing Advocate (Enrolment No. P/998/2012) in


Chandigarh Region.
May-June 2012 Worked on retainer with Universal Legal (Affiliated to the Chugh
