Once upon a time, in a not too distant world
There were children who counted with different abilities to others. God had
specially chosen them to come and give lessons in love for people, so he
endowed them with great sensitivity to express themselves without even
talking, of great intelligence so that, with smiles, they could learn in a especial
way, and great wisdom to see beyond and to read inside everyone. God made
these children, the beings, able to ennoble anyone's heart.

MISSION
Contribute to the formation and inclusion of people with barriers to learning
with one or multiple disabilities by providing the necessary support within the
framework of equity, relevance and quality in order to promote comprehensive
training, based on their skills and improving their quality of life, allowing them
to develop their capabilities to the full, contributing for them to be included in
an educational, social and labor way.

VISSION
Getting people with barriers to learning with one or multiple disabilities
integrate into society, equitable, inclusive and innovative, developing their full
potential in skills and competencies to achieve a better quality of life.

HISTORY
It all started in a classroom of Special Educations Degree when several
students dreamed of how it could be provide a comprehensive and close
attention to people with disabilities who did not have access to special schools
or resources to attend specialized therapies, besides the necessity of the
students to practice and gain experience. With support and advice from a
Degrees teacher, in August 2010 the project started taking a census on
disability in Tlajomulco de Zuniga, a little city in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mxico. It
could be possible ussing interviews that had the purpose to know the reality
and the needs of children, adolescents and youth with disabilities.
Formally we began in November 2010 giving workshops on Saturdays from
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the courtyard of a school in Tlajomulco. We were
there until December 2013 and in January 2014 it was started with the same
dynamics but now in Santa Fe, locality of Tlajomulco.
In 2011, we started working on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, in
the community of San Sebastin el Grande located in Tlajomulco de Zuniga.
Place where, nowadays, we continue working and is the base of our
Association. Most of the persons who imparted the workshops were students
from the Degree and some were psychologists, but all volunteers who gladly
share our joy and passion for our profession.
It was not until October 2013 that the appointment is given as a Civil
Association. In July 2014 we are invited to bring the operation Stimulation
Center for Persons with Intellectual Disability (CENDI) in Santa Fe, Tlajomulco
de Zuniga, where our working model is adopted by therapies and workshops
that promote the development of skills and skills to improve the quality of life
of our students.
In this short walk, also goes the story of each of the people who we have
attended, with which we have grown, shared life and above all with whom we
continue learning with Smiles ... Smiles that inspire to give and be the best
version of ourselves.
QUALITY POLICY
Our commitment is to offer a complete service with high quality programs to
develop the skills and competencies of our users, allowing them to develop
their capabilities to the full and contribute for them to be included in an
educational, social and labor way.
COMPREHENSIVE CARE

Provide comprehensive training, based on their skills and competencies to


improve their quality of life, enabling them to develop their capabilities to the
full and included educational, social and labor. To achieve this part of our
objective there are provided the following therapies:

LANGUAGE
Getting the students communication to be functional, either orally or nonorally, to promote the four aspects of language: phonological, semantic,
syntactic and pragmatic.

PSYCHOLOGY
Provide spaces where children, adolescents, young people and parents learn
and know strategies to achieve emotional and behavioral balance, so that an
adequate response to the social, school and family contexts inclusion could be
given.

COGNITIVE STIMULATION
Optimize the effective operation of different capacities and cognitive functions:
perception, attention, reasoning, abstraction, memory, language, orientation
processes and motor skills: through a series of situations and specific activities
for the development of mental abilities and improvement of its operation.
PSYCHOMOTOR THERAPHY
To use basic physical abilities, motor skills, knowledge of the structure and
functioning of the body for physical activity and movement in order to adapt to
the circumstances and conditions of each situation by motor coordination.
AUTISM CARE
Achieve better quality of life for children with autism and their families, through
the implementation of methodological strategies responding to their needs,
providing quality care.
