COMEDK MEDICAL AND DENTAL PGET 2016 ENTRANCE

EXAMINATION - ANNOUNCEMENT AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
COMEDK PGET 2016 Entrance Examination will be conducted on the First
Sunday of February 2016 (07-02-2016) for admission to Post Graduate Medical
and Dental courses in COMEDK Member Institutions.
2. Details regarding the schedule of examination, information Brochure etc.,
will be notified in due course. Prospective candidates are required to check the
COMEDK website for regular updates.
3. Candidates from across the country can appear for the entrance
examination. The eligibility criteria for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma
programs are as follows:
4. The applicants must:a) meet all the requirements stipulated by MCI / DCI
from time to time.
b) have successfully passed their MBBS / BDS from
an Institution recognized by MCI / DCI.
c)

have completed or be completing their internship

by 30th April 2016 at the latest.

d) have obtained permanent registration with the
MCI / DCI or any of the State Medical / Dental
Council.
e)

The

candidature

of

the

following

is

acceptable:(i)

Candidates

already holding

Degree in any specialty;

a PG

not

(ii) Candidates pursuing a PG Degree /

Diploma in any clinical specialty after
securing the seat through COMEDK in the
earlier years;
(iii) Candidates selected a seat through
COMEDK earlier and failed to join the
college so selected or failed to surrender
the said seat at the COMEDK level or
having joined the college failed to pursue
the course; and
(iv)Candidate

debarred

by

COMEDK

during the previous years.

Note: Notwithstanding the eligibility criteria mentioned as above, the changes,
if any, effected by MCI/DCI or any other competent Regulatory Authorities
shall be adopted.
