1.2 Alarm cable connection

Dry contact alarm cable connect at the 120 DDF module: NodeB dry contact alarm cable is
punched at down side, existing alarm is up side. Cable punched order is from pair 1 to 8. For
more easily to change and test the connection, used two column is better.

For ZTE power, ZTE CSU is connected to BBU with a RS-232 cable. ZTE CSU report these
alarms to BBU and BBU report to RAN EMS.

If the site didnt have the existing alarm, so only punched the dry contact alarm cable at the
external alarm DDF and didnt configure this alarm. Inform Site Eng/DiGi the site do not have
external alarm.
If the site existing alarm cable or sensor cant find, so only punched the dry contact alarm cable
at the external alarm DDF and didnt configure this alarm. Inform DiGi of the missing alarm.
If the site existing external alarm doesnt work, so only punched the dry contact alarm cable at
the external alarm DDF and configure this alarm. Inform DiGi if alarm cant be clear.
If the existing ELTEK Power equipment alarm cant clear by ZTE, need inform DiGi.
W301 door open alarm is only for the outdoor site, and the W301 equipment cabinet is installed.
For 1 PCS dry contact cable only support 8 alarms, FCB FAIL alarm is ignored.
After alarm test, need complete the alarm test report. After that, handover the document to the
cluster manger.

Main Failure: Take off the main AC breaker. (Confirm you have the permission to shut down)
Fuse Fail: can not test, only loop test.
