The Studio prioritizes the firing of works that are academic requirements, over non-academic
projects.
A Firing Monitor will be assigned per plate to collect the Firing Fee prior to the glazing schedule.
Firing Monitor uses a Firing Charge Form to record payments for academic projects. Students
who fail to pay the firing fee will not be allowed to glaze their project. Before glazing day, Firing
Monitor pays the collected money at the UPCFA Administration Office. A PR is issued for each of
the students who paid. Firing Monitor notes the PR number on the FIRING CHARGE FORM and
turns this over to Studio Staff. Firing Monitor gives out the PR to all students who paid. All PR
must be kept by students for possible reference in the future.
Studio Staff double checks whether the work to be glazed is an academic or non-academic
project. Any work that is not an academic requirement will be charged a Firing Fee. Students
must pay the Firing Fee before they are allowed to glaze. Studio Staff records these additional
charges in the Firing Charge Form. The Firing Fee is computed as follows:
UP Students / CFA Students P1.50 / cu in
