1. India-Bangladesh exchanges 162 enclaves Modi visited Bangladesh on 6-7 June 2015.
After 68 years of struggle finally one minute after midnight on 1 st august 2015,
exchanges of enclaves happened between the two nations.

While actual exchange of residents was supposed to begin on July 31, this has
been postponed to November following complaints that some members of Indian
enclaves in Bangladesh have threatened not to come to India.
Now, a recce period has been introduced from August 1 to October 31 when
members of the Indian enclaves will cross the border and take a look at the area
where they would be relocated.
Following this, between November 1 and 30, the physical exchange of enclave
dwellers would take place.

2. Sania Mirza conferred with Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna 2015 Sania Mirza became the second tennis player to receive the country's highest
sporting honour after Leander Paes.
She has won three mixed doubles Grand Slams in her career.
Sania, currently ranked world number one in women's doubles, scripted history by
becoming the first Indian to win a women's doubles Grand Slam title when she
and Martina Hingis clinched the Wimbledon trophy earlier this year.
Sania is only the second tennis player after Leander Paes to be named for the top
award.

3. Australia unveils plan to reduce emissions by 26-28 percent by 2030 Australian government has announced to cut countrys greenhouse gas (GHGs)
emissions by 26-28 per cent of 2005 levels by 2030 as part of negotiations on a
global climate deal.
Conservative Prime Minister Tony Abbott led government will submit its target to
the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Being worlds largest exporter of coal and iron ore, Australia is one of the largest
carbon emitters on a per capita mainly due to its reliance on coal-fired power
plants.
Currently the country is aiming to reduce its emissions by 5 per cent by 2020,
based on the level of emissions target set in 2000.
The new framework will seek to bring developing countries under its force them
to make commitments under the new framework.

4. Union cabinet approved signing of MoU between India and Australia on


education and Research The MoU will be signed on the fields of education, training and research.

This will help to build intensify existing collaboration between both the nations in
higher education and research including technical and professional education,
schools and vocational education.

Developing bilateral programs and supporting professional development
programs

5. Finnish PM Juha Sipila offers his spare home to relieve


distressed refugees
Amid European migrant crisis, Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipila is hoping to set
an example for his countrymen by opening his own spare house to refugees.
He said an EU plan to distribute 120,000 refugees arriving in Greece, Italy and
Hungary to countries around the European Union should be voluntary and hoped
Finland could show an example.
We should all take a look in the mirror and ask how we can help, Sipila told
national broadcaster YLE
