Haggai 1-2 - Zion's New Age Bible

A call to build the house of the LORD

1 In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month,

the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son
of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jozadak, [a] the high
priest:
2 This

is what the LORD Almighty says: Although these people say, The
time has not yet come to rebuild the LORDs house. 3 the LORD says: 4
That it is the time, for do you like living by mans laws alone, arguing like
fools, over the concept of right and wrong, faith, and what's best in the
sight of God. Doing all this without actually having God declare anything,
and whilst this house continues to remains a ruins?
5 Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: Give careful thought to your
ways. 6 You have planted much, but harvested little. You study the old
Bible, but never have enough understanding to feel as though you
actually understand it. 6a If you are wise and question things you would
listen to preiset, but kept having to go back to them for answers that are
unanswered like how could a father and son possibly be the same person,
especially considering that they have two completely different charters!.
6b You put on an armour of righteousness, like the old Bible tells you to,
but are not righteous, proving that this armour only has the facade or
appearance of righteousness but inside it is hollow. 6c An armour that
blooks truth knowledge and the openness to let others in. 6d So now, in
this inverted telling, I decree that you take off this armour of
righteousness so that you can let people in to see not what's in the
outside but instead what's on the inside. 6e Don't surround yourself in a
mental wall where you live in fear of others. Do not go about feeling like
you need to protect yourself from them, but instead soften these walls a
judge people by by their words, actions and behaviour alone. 6f Also be
wise your earnings, and do not throw it away on bad teachings, obsession
or practices.
7 This is what the LORD Almighty says: Give careful thought to your ways.
8 Act in righteousness and create what is good and build my new house,
so that all people both rich and poor, young and old may take pleasure in
it and be both respected and honoured, says the LORD. 9 You expected
much more, heaven, paradise, crowns of gold to be placed on your head
with your enmity destroyed and suffering in hell. 9a But see, it turned out
to be a lot less than that, but at least what I bring is truth and
opportunities for all. 9b What you brought home, I blew away. Why?
declares the LORD Almighty. Because of my house, remains a ruins
because of your false righteousness and need for destruction, while each
of you was busy with your own house I was only thinking of my house. 10

Therefore, because of you, the heavens have withheld their light and love
and the earth its crops and fremdom. 11 I called for a drought on the
fields, cities, towns, villages and all their people.
12 Then

when the people read this word, all the people obeyed the voice of
the LORD their God and the edited message of Haggai, because the LORD
their God had sent them. And the people feared the LORD.
13 Then Haggai, the LORDs messenger, and Anna who is God in flesh, gave
this message to the people: I am with you, declares the LORD. 14 So the
LORD stirred up the spirit of Israel, and the spirit of Judah, the high priest,
and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began
to work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God,15 on the twentyfourth day of the sixth month.

The promised glory of the new house

In the second year of King Darius, 2 1 on the twenty-first day of the
seventh month, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai:
2 Speak

to Judah, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people. Ask
them, 3 Who of you saw this big change about to happen before you were
told about it? How does it look to you now? Now that you know that none
are righteous in the sight of God? 3a Does it seem to you like nothing? The
things you now know about God, Reincarnation and the power of God! 4
But now be strong, Judah declares the LORD. Be strong, new priests. Be
strong, all you people of the land, and work. For I am with you, declares
the LORD Almighty. 5 This is what I covenanted with you from the days of
old. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.
6 This is what the LORD Almighty says: In a little while I will once more
shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 7 I will shake
all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and then I will fill
this house with glory, says the LORD Almighty. 8 The world is mine and
the people are mine. 9 The glory of this present house will be greater than
the glory of the former house. And in this place I will grant peace,
declares the LORD Almighty.

Blessings for a defiled people

10 On

the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of

Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Haggai:
11 This

says:

is what the LORD Almighty says: Ask the priests what the law
someone carries consecrated meat in the fold of their garment,

12 If

and that fold touches some bread or stew, some wine, olive oil or other
food, does it become consecrated?
The priests answered, No. So then haggai and all other presets that
believe this why does your book say;
13 Then Haggai said, If a person, defiled by contact with a dead body,
touches one of these things, does it become defiled?
Yes, the priests replied, it becomes defiled.
14 Then Haggai said, So it is with the people and the nations in my sight,
declares the LORD. 14a Then Anna says: What you have just said is not
from the Lord, for touching a dead body does not defile a person, and if
that person had become defiled. 14b If they go on to touch something or
someone else that does not make them defiled too 14c What you have
just said is simply not true, and likewise, the first scenario that you spoke
is also not true either. 14d For considerations is only a practise made up by
man to make persist feel more important. 14e It is impossible to be defiled
just by touching a dead body, just like it is impossible to bless and
consecrate a piece of meat just by praying over it or touching it with some
water. 14f Whatever they do and whatever they offer a person or item can
not be made holy, righteous or unrighteous just by a simple touch, pray
or blessing. 14g For if it was God's laws, then the answers above would
have been the same. Then Anna said, So it is with the people and the
nations in my sight, declares the LORD. 14h I do not have one law for the
Jews and another law for people of other Nations. The Jews are not my
blessed people for they are just as blessed or as cursed as any other
minority group.
15 Now

give careful thought to this from this day on consider how

things were before and do not fall back into bad habits picked up from
past ways 17 I now have changed all the word of these books so you can
return to truth, declares the LORD. 18 From this day on, give careful
thought to how you act in the future and how you treat others for the
foundation of the LORDs temple was laid. 18a And now it is up to you, for
you must be the ones to maintain it and grow it into an even better
temple. Give careful thought and act in love and righteousness: 19 and
From this day on I will bless you.

The LORDs signet ring

20 The

word of the LORD came to Haggai a second time on the twentyfourth day of the month:
21 Tell

the people that I am going to shake the heavens and the earth. 22 I
will overturn royal thrones and shatter the power of the fallen kingdoms. I
will overthrow churches and their priests; Nations and their corrupt
leaders will fall, each by the new word of this Gospel.

23 On

that day, declares the LORD Almighty, I will take you, Israel, and I
will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you to write the new
word, declares the LORD Almighty.
