New Jersey State Police said Saturday there is no


credible threat to New Jersey in the wake of Fridays
terror attacks in Paris that left at least 127 people dead,
although Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
police are operating under heightened alert.
At this point, were still operating under normal operating procedures, said Sgt. Jeffrey Flynn of the
State Police.
We are monitoring the situation, he said. At this
point, there is no credible threat to New Jersey. Were
just reminding our troopers on patrol to operate with
heightened vigilance. Were operating business as usual.

ASBURY PARK - A week after gunfire between a police officer and a city man wounded an 8-year-old girl
nearby, neighbors say they want answers to basic questions, including why video purportedly showing the
suspect shooting first has not been made public.
They also said they want to know what prompted Officer Terrance McGhee to stop 20-year-old Dante Allen,
the alleged assailant, and pat him down the night of Nov.
4 on the citys west side. Unanswered as well: Who fired
the round that grazed Cassie Jones forehead as she sat
in her house watching television?
I want to know whose bullet that was, said Deborah
