Annual Charge Conference today, November 15th at
1:45pm with our District Superintendent.
Please remember on November 22nd we will be celebrating
Harvest Home and would like to have canned goods brought
in that day. There will be an announcement during the service
for when the canned goods are to be brought up to the altar.
Also, a 2nd collection will be taken November 22nd for the
discretionary fund which will help local families in need with
their Thanksgiving meal.
The St. Andrews Praise Band is looking for a new name and
would love your suggestions. Send your ideas to the church
secretary(office@standrewsworship.org) or write it on a slip of
paper and put it in the mailbox next to the office door. Please
include your name so that we can give you credit if your
suggestion is chosen.

picked up after the Family Service on Christmas Eve, December 24th.

Today ,there will be Christmas Cards for sale in the lobby.
They are created by Pat Martin' s sister-in-law Barbara
Reinbrecht, who is a gifted artist. The proceeds will go to a
fund at Christ Home for those who are unable to pay for their
services.
Only 1 week left ! That's right, you only have until November
22nd to fill those shoeboxes and bring them back to church. A
small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is
fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing
children's lives all over the world in Jesus' Name through the
power of a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child. See
Debbie Hausher if you have any questions.

Reba Fichthorn sends her thanks and lover for her many
beautiful Birthday cards that you sent to her on her 107th
Birthday! She enjoyed reading every one and will continue to
enjoy re-reading them during the year. Thank you again for
your kindness. With Love & Thanks, Reba

PSALM 24
1 The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it, the world, and those who
live in it; 2 for he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the
rivers. 3 Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand
in his holy place? 4 Those who have clean hands and pure hearts, who
do not lift up their souls to what is false, and do not swear deceitfully.
5 They will receive blessing from the Lord, and vindication from the
God of their salvation. 6 Such is the company of those who seek him,
who seek the face of the God of Jacob. 7 Lift up your heads, O gates!
and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord,
mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O
ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is this
King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory.
Matthew 25:14-29
14 "Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and
entrusted his property to them. 15 To one he gave five talents of money, to
another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability.
Then he went on his journey.16 The man who had received the five talents went
at once and put his money to work and gained five more. 17 So also, the one
with the two talents gained two more. 18 But the man who had received the one
talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money. 19 "After a
long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.
20 The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. 'Master,'
he said, 'you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.' 21
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been
faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and
share your master's happiness!' 22 "The man with the two talents also came.
'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two
more.' 23 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have
been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come
and share your master's happiness!' 24 "Then the man who had received the one
talent came. 'Master,' he said, 'I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where
you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 So I
was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what
belongs to you.' 26 "His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you
knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered
seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the
bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. 28
" 'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents.29 For
everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever
does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
