ACTIVITY 1 Warm up
Timing: 5 min

The teacher checks the homework and asks wheter there have been something difficult
encountered during solving the exercise.
ACTIVITY 2 Presentation
Timing: 15 min
Interaction: T-Ps

Procedure: - T writes the title on the blackboard and the model sentence to present the grammar
structure used to talk about future plans
-We use To be+going to+Verb (inf.) when:
1. we want to talk about a planned action for the future.
E.g. I am going to visit you on Wednesday.
2. we are making a prediction.
E.g. Its really cold. Im sure it is going to snow tomorrow.
-Together with the students, the teacher writes on the blackboard the formula for affirmative,
negative and questions and children are asked to give examples.
Aff: S + to be + going to + V (infinitive without to)
Neg: S+ to be not + going to + V (infinitive without to)
Q: to be + S + going to + V (infinitive without to)

Procedure: - students are asked to individually solve exercise 11 page 29
-the exercise is being checked with the whole class

Procedure: -the teacher handles the students the worksheet and explains them what they have to
