Quality improvements gained from Fujifilms Super CCD Pro and Real Photo Processor Pro technology developed for the popular FinePix S5 Pro are now available for specialized photography in the ultraviolet (UV), visible and infrared (IR) portion of the
spectrum (approx. 380nm 1000nm). The IS Pros extremely low noise signature combined with ultra high 3200 ISO sensitivity aid
critical alternative wavelength low light photography methods that can significantly tax ordinary converted DSLR output with respect
to clarity and sharpness.

WORKFLOW IMPROVEMENTS SAVE TIME AND MONEY

New one-touch Black and White instant live CCD preview mode makes fast access to Live Preview mode much easier than
S3 Pro UVIR.
Advanced LCD Live Preview available as B&W or Color. And now via PC USB 2.0 and NTSC/PAL video monitor.
Direct connecting with optional bar code and magnetic strip card readers with data stored directly to EXIF compliant
JPEG / RAW and TIFF image files.
Post capture face detection - Faces are automatically zoomed in during playback to confirm focus and exposure, in a group
up to 10 faces per image.
Eliminate long exposure image blur with Mirror Lock-Up and Shutter Delay modes.

REINFORCED FOR HEAVY USE

Third party IR camera modifications come with pitfalls such as: voided camera warranty; no or limited manufacturer support; CCD
dust complications; or broken components not covered by manufacturer warranty. Fujifilms IS Pro is unmatched by third party
camera modifications. A specially formulated protective CCD glass filter provides maximum UV / IR sensitivity while providing critical protection to the Super CCD Pro from dust and cleaning damage. A metal-alloy body provides strength and protects against dust
and moisture intrusion while the shutter has a high 100,000 cycle life rating.

FLEXIBLE FORENSIC OPTIONS

Most DSLR camera conversions today only offer RAW as an option. The IS Pro is compatible with an optional free firmware upgrade
due out this Autumn that will support in-camera TIFF file formats in three resolutions. Optional kits are available from Fujifilm that
support hard to find UV and IR Filters and an optional serial port bar code reader kit that scans alpha numeric data directly to the
image file. Bar code data can later be recalled and images synched to a database. Bar codes of drivers licenses, employee IDs,
automotive VIN tags, credit cards, evidence tags, or any object with a bar code can be recorded directly to the camera.

AVAILABILITY

Starting July 2007 the IS Pro will be available through Fujifilms channel of specialized dealers that
support GSA sales and sales to the technical, law-enforcement, medical research, art history,
astronomy, and scientific communities.
