NanoGrout GP
GENERAL PURPOSE NON-SHRINK CEMENTITIOUS GROUT
DESCRIPTION

NanoGrout GP is cement based non-metallic, non-shrink free flow grout that

maintains a fluid consistency for a long time. NanoGrout GP was designed
for use in local conditions, with increased extended working times.

STANDARDS

BS EN 480-2 :96, ASTM C109-80, BS EN 196-1 :95, ASTM C940:89

ASTM C827-82, BS 1881:Part 107 & Part 124 :83, BS 6319 : Part 7 : 85

USES & ADVANTAGES

NanoGrout GP is a general-purpose grout designed for use in all non-critical

applications.
Ready to use, only requires addition of water.
Flowable and self levelling.
Able to fill intricate voids.
Use for concrete repair work.
Chloride free.
High strength.
Good dimensional stability.
No bleeding or segregation.
Controlled expansion.
Compensates for shrinkage in both plastic and hardened state.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surfaces should be clean, sound and free from oil, grease, laitance and loose
particles. Metal surfaces should also be clean & free from rust, oil & grease.

MIXING

NanoGrout GP should be mixed using a suitable mixer. For flowable consistency

use a slow speed <600 R.P.M. hand drill and paddle or specialised grout mix
pumps. Powder should be added to the pregauged clean water 15% - 17%.
Mix untill uniform flowable consistency is acheived.

APPLICATION

Ensure that the surface is correctly prepared. Saturate with water at least 3 - 4
hours prior to pouring the grout. No free water should be left standing. During
application ensure air entrained into the grout is able to escape through relief
holes. Maintain continuous head when base-plate grouting. Grout flow should
not be interrupted. Formwork should be leak proof. Ensure there is no water
standing in bolt holes. If possible, grout anchor bolts first then the mortar bed
in a second operation. The distance between anchor bolt and substrate should
be at least 3 x max. diameter of mortar aggregates approx. 10 mm. A cable or
chain may be used to make sure that all cavities are filled.

NOTE

Use NanoGrout GP with minimum gaps of 5 mm and maximum depths of 100

mm. Temperature will affect setting time and strength gain. Normal curing
practice should be maintained. For detailed application methodology, refer
Method Statement.

FORM WORK

The formwork should be watertight. Therefore a joint sealant should be used

to close all points where forms meet and also around the bottom and top of
formwork.

PRE-SOAKING

The prepared areas should be flooded with water for 3-4 hours prior to the
placement of NanoGrout GP. Immediately before the grout is placed all free
water should be released from the area to be grouted. There should be NO
standing water present when the grout is placed.

CURING

To prevent rapid surface drying and crazing, grout should be cured with wet
burlap or moist gunny bag or use a suitable curing compound from JetCure
Range.

YIELD

13 Ltr/Bag.
