ARICENT PROJECT DETAILS:

Project No: 1 .Testing of 4 Features in MSAN

Role: Senior Engineer Testing Services.

Client: NEC-A
Responsibilities: Studying customer requirements and developing test strategy and test
plan. Having interaction with Product Manager and feature team.

Description: Worked on 4 protocols namely

a) Mac-Anti spoofing MRS 414/MRS 415, MRS 306
b) Implementation of DRR + SP
c) ASLP-Active Standby Link Protection
d) CFM(IEEE 802.1ag)

ALCATEL-LUCENT PROJECT DETAILS:

Project No: 1(R3.7) Testing of VRRP Proxy in DSLAM.

Role: PT Prime.
Client: TDC.
Responsibilities: Studying customer requirements and developing test strategy, test plan
and testcases. Responsible for regression, stability and performance testing. Having
interaction with product Line Manager and feature team.

Description: This feature is to fix the specific TDC issue, because it has specific CPE
configuration (TDC is deploying CPEs where 2 PVCs are attached to the same VLAN bridge,
2 PVCs configuration are in order to comply with the configuration of 2 different operators,
one of these 2 PVCs is actually provisioned at ISAM level), hence there will be some
problems while dealing with VRRP packets. Only VRRP control messages from routers use
virtual MAC address as source MAC address, but they could not reach CPE, due to they are
discarded in iBridge as unknown multicast traffic in LT. Then there is no way for CPE to learn
the virtual MAC address on its uplink ports. CPE can only flood the traffic to its 2 uplink PVCs,
and then the upstream bandwidth is wasted 50%, so a VRRP proxy is implemented to
generate garp packets towards users once on receiving VRRP packets from network end.

Project No:4(R3.3) Testing Multivlan

Role: PT Prime.

Client: KPN.

Responsibilities: Studying customer requirements and developing test strategy, test plan
and testcases. Responsible for regression, stability and performance testing. Having
interaction with Product Line Manager and feature team.

Description: Customer requires a network model where a given user can be subscribed with
different service providers. For ATM based dsl mode one PVC per service is deployed. When
migrating to EFM port customer insists VLAN to identify a service. Architecture whereby on
the access link single tagged frames are used, with multiple vlan-ids that indicate the
services of interest.
