PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 2015-118 approving the application of A.

Brown Company, represented by Ms. Mary Shiela C. Mercurio, Manager,
Compliance Department, for Alteration of Plan covering a portion of Xavier Estate,
Phase I, particularly Lot 1-B-1 and Lot 1-B-2, containing an area of 4,397 square
meters & 6,160 square meters, respectively, located at Upper Balulang, this City,

Vice Mayor Lourdes Candy R. Darimbang said her assumption as Vice Mayor is purely a call of
duty adhering to the law of succession, and appealed to her colleagues to extend to her their
support and cooperation in solidifying the efforts leading to the right direction, among other
things.
Action taken:
The Presiding Officer asked the Secretariat to transcribe the report and to
furnish the same to the Honorable City Mayor Caesar Ian E. Acenas for his
information.
ii. Councilor President D. Elipe reported about the Invitation to Bid posted on Philgeps website
regarding the Gaston Park Redevelopment Project-Phase 3 (Musical Fountain) in the amount of
P15 Million plus, taken from the 20% Development Fund, containing appropriation for CY 2014
which made it appear that the project has its budget and contract approved by the Sanggunian,
when in fact, he said, it was not approved nor presented to the Sanggunian for approval and
that the project is not also among the projects listed in the Annual Investment Program, among
other things.
Action taken:
The Body adopted Resolution No.12191-2015.

iii. Councilor Adrian L. Barba presented two documents from the DENR regarding the road accident
at Portulin, Medina, Misamis Oriental, involving the vehicle of Councilor Zaldy O. Ocon loaded
with forest products, and called for the election of a new Chairman of the Committee on
Environment & Natural Resources for purposes of delicadeza and protecting the integrity of the
City Council as an institution, among others.
