This week we are learning: Circle Time Review This week we will review the topics from last semester that include the rainforest. We will play games such as the sumo game, flash card hunt, bowling, and the fly swatting game to refresh the students memory. We will continue to ask each other questions and respond using complete sentences.

Activities and Games:
We are going to do a spelling test on Western food, the words are: spaghetti, hamburger, chicken, cheese, sandwich, stew, pie, steak, paying attention to the sounds: sp, ch, st, er. The class will design a sandwich that has three different ingredients, which they will bring into school on Friday. When they finish making it, each student will introduce their sandwich to the rest of the class, describing it in terms and ingredients and taste. This week we are also going to do a restaurant role play where students will play the parts of diners, waiters and the chef. They will use the focus sentences What would you like to eat/drink? For starter/main/dessert I would like to eat/drink We are also going to work in some do you have? Yes, I do/no, I dont. Worksheets: This week we are going to learn about which foods are healthy and do worksheets where students will label various food as either healthy or unhealthy. We are also going to complete a I like/I dont like worksheet about food and another worksheet where the students will label all the different table cutlery. We will do other worksheets where the class have to match the correct word to the right food picture and also they will fill in missing letters.

Phonics World book 2, reviewing short 'u' words sun, up, jug, hug; and 'ug' words Crafts: bug, rug, mug and also the set of 'ud' This week we are going to make our favourite meals. After designing a personal menu, each student words bud, mud; and 'up' words pup, will make it using paper plates, coloured paper, paint and play-doe. There will be prizes given for the cup. This week we will begin unit 8 in most beautiful and delicious meals.
