Building the Kit.

This kit is not for beginners, you should have soldering skills and
you must know the correct direction to install ICs, LEDs and
condensers. Eowave is not responsible if you solder a component in the
wrong direction or if by consequence the component(s) is destroyed.
Read the instructions carefully before starting to solder.
Use the pictures to verify the placement if you have doubts.

Components are placed on 2 sides of the board, components on one side,
mechanical parts on the other side

1st mount the component side

Place and solder components in the order advised below:
- resistors
- ICs (use the socket for the main Uc the 16 pin PT2399 IC ) do not fit the IC
before you do your first electrical test
- capacitors
- transistors
- power connector

2nd mount the other side

start with :
mount the Mini jack connectors
end with the potentiometers

TESTS
Once all components are mounted you can perform an electrical test before
you mount the PT2399.
Connect the ribbon cable to the power connector, and power the unit from
your eurorack case. Take note of the orientation of the ribbon cable. Measure
the voltage on pin 1 and 3 of the Main IC socket - you must have 5V. If so,
you can plug the IC on the socket. If not check your soldering.

Now you can make tests before mounting the front panel.
Adjust the trimmer R39 to set the length of delay as desired.
