Young people make voices heard


YOUNG people in Charnwood will be highlighting
concerns that affect their lives to officers and
members from Leicestershire County Council next
month.
The newly-reformed Charnwood Youth Forum will
discuss issues raised at last October’s Charnwood
Youth Conference when they meet representatives
from the County for Vox Pop on March 1.
Items on the agenda will include transport issues -
which will cover the times and costs of buses - drug
and alcohol abuse, environmental issues arising from
concerns over safety due to a lack of street lighting in
parks and open spaces as well as discarded needles.

immediately at reception, with the
remaining 37,000 meeting with the trained
Customer Advisors to discuss face-to-face a
